The Indian good is awesomeeeee. Garlic naan and butter chicken! Please try it! I love concept coffeeshops like this, with a chain of food stalls from Japanese to beer, it’s always almost crowded. Novena kids are blessed with Pigsfly, ideal for a chill Friday night out

The good: — Salmon avocado and soft shell crab sushi rolls. The sushi chef is very consistent at making these rolls, and there are always generous amounts of filling instead of rice. I’m surprised the price is so cheap for what was served! — HH draft beer. Price of half pint for a full pint — French fries from the burger menu. Always hot and crispy. Love the texture — Food court style with waiter service. Grab a table, remember your number, order at the front — Variety of food, good for groups The bad: — The Thai and Indian food takes forever to come and lack in flavor — The bathroom smells and needs remodeling. I’m normally fine with co-ed restrooms and a common wash area, but it was really unpleasant to walk in and see the urinals — The atmosphere could get really loud — Smoking is allowed at the front, if you’re not a fan of smoke, sit further in

Quite cool, lots of fans even on a hot day Portions are huge, good value. simple casual eatery THAI — mango salad — very good, not too sour not too sweet, dad loved this — fish cake — so so, abit soft — beef noodles — not good, beef very tough — pad Thai — noodle taste not bad, but didn’t really like the chicken — chicken fried rice — abit soggy but nice taste. Would try the pork next time INDIAN –chicken tikka masala — rather westernized taste, but quite nice

I wanted to give this place a try as it is close by and I actually like Bar Bar Black Sheep off of Bukit Timah. The good: — Good, well priced beer selection. — The burger was decent. — Something for everyone. The Bad: — The sushi was okay, nothing that I would get again. — The thai beef was inedible. The worst dish I have had in a while. I would come back for the beer but that’s about it.

A Bar Bar Black Sheep knock off. Good: — Pretty good selection of beers at decent prices — Great if you wanna grab a quick drink around Novena Not Good: — Indian food was disappointing. Had the butter chicken which was just watery. The garlic naan was bland. — Burger and fries were average at most. — Service was reluctant and felt like that couldn’t give two sh*ts about you. Would I wanna come back again? Maybe for the beer if I’m around the area.

PigsFly is like the equivalent of a western hawker centre. I’m a fan! There’s a good variety of stalls to choose from– Pizza, Thai food, burgers, and sushi, to name a few. Miguel and I are fans of the Ruby Thai stall. I always order the pad Thai and Miguel goes for the whole(small) steamed fish. I think it goes for some ridiculous low price, like $ 10 or something. Most recently, we gave the sushi stall a try. Although it’s not the best sushi, it’s a steal for the prices they are charging. They have a good variety of sashimi, sushi, rolls, and tempura, which I find surprising for such a small stall! Knock on wood, but so far, we haven’t gotten sick from it. The burger stall is good if you’re looking for a heavy meal. If you’re lucky enough to order the lunch special, your burger might come with sweet potato fries(my favorite!) I think their classic burger is good enough, because once you start adding cheese, the prices get a bit too much for me(the cheeseburger is an extra $ 2 and the only difference is that it has a small slice of cheese.) If you come here during happy hour, they have some great promotions. I believe it’s basically 2-for-1… you get a full pint of beer for the price of half a pint. They have a decent draft beer selection, and a lot of ciders to choose from as well. They also have big screen TVs, so this would be a great spot to go to if you’re looking for a place with an al fresco vibe to watch the game. The music they play can be a little loud, and sometimes might have profanities, so if you bring children here, keep that in mind. But other than that, it’s pretty kid friendly.

This place has 4 different counters where you can order different cuisines — Thai, Indian, Japanese/Sushi, Chinese. Good place for groups or people with differing food preferences. After you order, they bring the food to your table. It was a nice, casual atmosphere. I came here with two friends and was excited to try the Thai food based on the reviews, but that counter had closed down early(which was disappointing — and we were there at 7 p.m. which is not late for dinner standards at all!). In any case, our group ended up trying the Indian and Chinese. The mango lassis we had were delicious, and everything else was good, but standard. Overall, a good place, located near the MRT, nice atmosphere, solid food with many options, and well-priced.

the order counter is now relocated to the opposite end. according to the staff, a sushi counter will emerge from the vacated space very soon! am looking forward to that. for now, the thai food is still your best bet here. however, DONOT order the thai grilled beef! taste is ok but super chewy ala beef jerky! or was it horse meat??? if i was wearing dentures, i wouldn’t be after one bite of that beef!!! finally tried their indian food. tasty mutton rogan josh but @$ 12 you expect more mutton in the curry. garlic naan was more crispy than doughy. now you have to order and pay at the counter but they will bring the food to you.

I was here for a friend’s bday and we were a big group, more than 25pax. You go up to the counter to order and pay. Food gets sent to your table. The style and look of the place is reminiscent of Bar Bar Black Sheep at Robertson Quay area. and I did some investigation and I think the thai food stall here used to be from Foundry. The thai food is gooood. The Indian food is quite good. The nice thing is you can order 3 different types of cuisine so. feel free to have fries dipped in thai gravies or indian curry. try it if you haven’t yet! We mostly ordered from the thai and indian stall and there was a supremely savoury lip smacking thai beef in a reddish sauce dish that I could not stop slurping up! Pad Thai was a bit too sweet for my taste but came bouncy and fresh. Pretty affordable as most thai dishes was around 10 or 11 I think. We loved having fresh naans to slop up all the yummy gravy from both cuisines. Wide variety of beers. But after all that spicy food. you really need to have a scoop of gelato to wrap things up! They didn’t mind us sitting there and yacking away till late as well.
