Indeed clubbing is not for everyone and anyone, Clubbers too find places where they suit into. This is a super super high end club where you can find super hot male and female models parading around with their tight sexy dresses and males with trendy suits. Everyone was so good looking it made me feel i was in a wax musuem.
Leading to the long hallway is covered with fancy green LED lights, i kinda like the idea gives you a hype suspense to make you for excited and curious how is the place like. The whole place is filled with rectangular tables and sofas, there is a stretch for vip as well. Best part is for smokers! You have a room just beside the bar! Very convenient.
Main focus is definitely on bottle service, unless your girl and alone trying to get hitch, the bar works for you.
Overall great architecture, inspired posh lifestyle and friendly staff!

Pangaea is one of those places where it pays to roll in with the right people. A friend from college/​uni was in town, and luckily her boyfriend knew the right people to get us all in without paying cover.
We came in at midnight on a Saturday, and it was dead. But after chillin’ at our table for a bit, the place magically filled up and the party started around 1ish. The crowd that night was decent; I would peg people at late 20s and up. Most of the girls were good looking, and there were definitely some models peppered in the crowd.
The music surprised me. At first it was pretty boring and nothing out of the ordinary, but once the crowd came in it was updated and mixed to my liking (a lot better than hip hop Thursday at Kyo… Damn, I’ll never let that one go, haha.)
Now this is the one place that truly understands bottle service. People give a shit here, and it’s nice! I felt like I was back home, since the lovely ladies in tight dresses parade around with the sparklers and lit up bottles of Dom, Belvedere, etc. We had a lady and a gentleman assigned to our table, and they were very helpful in setting things up, maintaining the ice bucket, and of course, serving our drinks.
It’s a bummer that one has to drop $ 770+ to get service like this at the club (and I shudder at the fact that that’s the price for only one bottle of Belvedere. Anyone know how much it is for the 6+ bottles of Dom?) Guess I’m going to have to learn how to befriend the rich Indos so they can finance my time here!

Clubs come and go in terms of trendiness but this is by far my favorite and regular hangout.
There are reasons for that, first of all they keep it exclusive through a higher cover charge if that applies to you and upscale (but IMHO not unreasonable) prices for drinks. The audience is mixed and personally I prefer places where there are a fair amount of locals as well. In the past I have been flamed when I said I avoid the usual foreigner/​ExPat hangouts as the plague but nowadays I guess most reasonable people would agree with me. I have no hesitations recommending Pangaea in these regards though.
It is a smaller size club which has a plush design and that makes it pretty upscale, I also like the way it’s climatized in there. At some places you either freeze to death or flow away from the heat. Not so here. Also the music (DJ) is always great!

Aside from One Altitude, this is the only club I have been to in Singapore, but it has to be one of if not the best. Yes, it’s over-​the-​top (when we were there, someone ordered a parade of Dom Perignon with sparklers attached to the bottles), but that’s part of what makes clubs fun in my opinion. Pangaea gets a reputation of being exclusive and snooty (its website doesn’t help with this), but I found the crowd to be a fun mix of people. Without a table, the cover charge is $ 40, which is much higher than other clubs in Singapore, but not an unreasonable price to pay considering what clubs of similar caliber in New York charge. Pangaea is small in size, but they know how to throw a party.

Michael Ault was one of the first to introduce bottle service clubs and he’s done a great job in keeping the spirit at Pangaea. The lounge, if you will (it looks and feels more like a lounge with house music rather than a club because there’s no dance floor), is decked out with leather sofas, discreet platforms for the exuberant and some cool light fixtures. As you walk in from the underground entrance near TCC, you feel like you’re in Justin Timberlake’s SexyBack video, striding through the tunnel lit like an industrial pathway to Cerberus. Our host was a sweet looking Filipino lady dressed in chinoiserie chic and was on hand most of the time to serve drinks etc.
I’ll admit that Pangaea has all the makings of a great party. A monied, decently good looking crowd, a male-​to-​female ratio that’s inclined to the one’s paying for those $ 15,000 tables; and ultimate discretion. Somehow, I didn’t feel that excited though. You get the feeling that everyone in the club is looking over their shoulder to people watch instead of letting their hair down to have a good time. Nonetheless, this is the most profitable club in Singapore so they must be doing a lot of things right. It’s just not for everyone.
