Absolutely love that they have a mini size for milkshakes! What better way than to be able to sample different flavors at one go! For me however, I felt the mini size was more than sufficient. Can be a good substitute for a dessert. The«new» flavor of salted caramel has been my favorite so far, with cookies and creams following close behind. A cool, salty, frothy drink for a cold Monday evening. Bliss!

I like the milkshakes here as they are thick and creamy, not runny like many other places’ versions. I am quite taken with the design and descriptions of the flavors… none of the usual boring chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Instead you get Chocolate Truffle Castle, Agent Strawberries, Vainilla Pot and many more. And they come with their own little stories and pictures. Cute. I have tried a few flavors but my favorite is still the Chocolate Truffle Castle. Rich and dark and semi-sweet, it is perfect to me. It also comes with some chocolate bits. I usually get the mini as it is just nice to satisfy a mid-day craving for the sweets. The regular is a bit too much(at least for the chocolate flavor, not sure about the others).

Once Upon A Milkshake provides good quality ice cream milkshake and it’s creative milkshake names do give it a competitive edge. The milkshake is not too bad, pretty thick in texture and rich in flavour. But also because of the unique names, you can’t really tell what the flavours for the milkshakes. Ask the staffs and select your favourite flavour! I’ll usually choose the more fruity ones because they tend to be sweeter. I still remember my first time when I went to Once Upon a Milkshake to finally try their products. I asked for a mini cup as I thought the amount was pretty affordable and didn’t know what to expect from it. Oh boy, the cup is really so mini. So small, as small as my palm! I wasn’t annoyed by the size, but rather the long straw that came with it. Nice peeps and nice drinks. I’ll go back again!
