Nando’s

With Nando’s opening at I12 Katong, I decided to give the peri-​peri chicken a try to see what the hype is about. Unlike the other outlets in town, the one here does not have the long queues and waiting time.
I ordered the Quarter Chicken with Two Sidelines ($ 14.90++) and chose the Lemon & Herb sauce to pair it with. There are other sauce options like the Hot Peri-​Peri but I steered clear of it because it looked fiery. The meat itself was average with little flavor, whereas the flavor of the peri-​peri glaze on the chicken was distinct. The fries with seasoning were passable too.
The service was good too, though not exceptional. The staff was standing at the entrance, readily welcoming customers in, which helped in leaving a positive impression.
