Feel like working out after a heavy lunch or dinner in town? CCAB is probably the nearest sports and recreational centre that is open to the public. Located at Evans Road, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the Singapore Botanic Gardens. My recommended running route would be from CCAB to the Tanglin entrance of the Botanic and back. That would give you at least 30mins of workout if you’re an average to fast runner.
The track and field are often used by many sports enthusiasts. Some rugby clubs have their trainings here, as do running clubs. You may sign up for some fitness courses with them. No harm checking it out at the venue. It always helps to work out with motivated people in a group. Hot guys and ladies are often spotted as well. :)
Tennis courts, handball and netball courts and badminton courts are available. There is also a hockey pitch at the side closer to the pool. Make your bookings online with the Singapore Sports Council. If you wish to use the pool, make the payment at the office located at the Hockey pitch.
