Love this place. Family oriented kinda place, and it is easy on the pocket. Menu has a big range and we love their fried rice. Reasonably priced for a big family like mine! As the kitchen is a little small, when it is too crowded, food can be a bit slow at times. But well worth the wait cos its affordable and nice to eat!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. My family and I are very loyal customers, and there will always be a couple of dishes we’d order every time we’re there. I really love their steamed fish. It comes to the table bubbling in a wonderful lemon, garlic and chilli padi gravy. It’s so refreshing and the fish is so soft. Depending on which portion you take, it will take up at least a quarter of the table– that big! I strongly recommend diners to try it. Their Fried Baby Squid is super crunchy, fried in Thai chili sauce. It’s addictive and goes so great with rice. Stuffed Chicken thigh(or is it drumstick?) is so good– chicken and I don’t know what else is stuffed in the drumstick(completely covered!) and fried. Each piece is so fat, juicy and oh-so-nice. Black Pepper Beef Hotplate is another winner; heaps of sliced beef slathered in a thick, punching black pepper sauce, all sizzling. The onions added the sweetness and was a welcome addition. Do save room in your stomach for desserts, especially the tapioca with coconut milk. It’s rich, sweet and creamy, served warm. Red Ruby is good too, bright red crunchy jewels in coconut milk and crushed ice. Come to Magic Wok for a(large) taste of Thailand at affordable prices!(And seriously, don’t go alone– go with at least a friend to share around the huge portions and be able to sample more dishes) ;D
