Hands + Feet Studio

I come here primarily for the «all-​rounder» massage. 45 minutes on feet and 15 on neck and back. Of course some masseurs are better than others, but I would never complain to the uncles. Give them a try if you need a quick pick me up. They also offer a prenatal foot massage which really saved me during pregnancy. You can also request it if you want a lighter touch but lately they really haven’t been too strong anyway.

The first thing one gets done after typing 7000 words, isn’t exactly to sing at the top of my voice, put some fireworks or urm take a swig of whisky. You should:
pick up the phone, dial some numbers, ask for the last appointment to make for a massage and manicure, and zip up your pants as your reservation is being confirmed.
True story, that one, because I just did that (minus the pants bit) the minute the FYP got done. Called in at 7pm to find myself lucky enough for a last mani/​pedi appointment at 730pm. As I dashed down and swung the door open, I find myself ridiculously excited but greeted with slightly amused faces of course. But who cares when you are about to sink into a luxuriously comfy armchair, with the sweetest manicurists (Fiona and Mandy are my usuals) and a nice lovely cup of tea. Ahhhhh, as I get into the mood, rolling back the shoulders and just zoning out after two week of face-​to-​face with thy macbook, I couldn’t resist asking the lady boss if I can get an impromptu massage, because (lo and behold) last appointment is at 945pm! And yes! I got my long awaited, well deserved foot reflexology (that is really pretty awesome) as soon as I’m done with my pedicure. HOW SWEET IS THAT!
Nothing beats pampering at any time of the day, when you want it. Especially when the night falls and there is very little left to do besides eating. Kudos to Caryn for her enterprising and quick wits there! No more reasons to pig out cause there’s nothing to do at night, you might as well give yourself some TLC ;)

Mani/​pedi and massage under one roof. The pace is comfy and homely. Located along a small stretch of shophouses in the middle of the private housing estate in Siglap, you can probably get free parking along the road.
Get your nails done, or get a massage while you wait.

Snuck in a quick 30 minute back massage while waiting the girlfriend and her best friend to get done with their pedicures, and boy did I need it!
The masseur was direct and hit all the right spots — though he was a little *stronger* than I expected at certain areas, he did work my shoulders and lower back well, and those at where i needed a kneading the most.
He made an effort to check in with me a few times to make sure he wasn’t hurting me, and it was nice to know he wasn’t just going to tenderise my back as he saw fit.
The owner’s definitely put some thought into the space, and well-​spaced out chairs, plus the chillout/​beach music help soothe the mind, while nimble hands soothe your aching muscles.
Ask about their packages if you like what they do; you’ll save quite a bit over 10 sessions, and I’m sure those will go pretty quick!
