Finally made my way to this cute little nail salon that’s hidden in a mostly empty shopping centre. They JUST changed management and renamed to House of Manicure, formally The Kuching Nail Spa.(Hopefully these changes will be reflected soon.) Despite the name change, everything remains the same. The décor hasn’t changed too much from the past photos, they still donate a percentage of their profits to animal welfare, and they offer both gel and non-gel mani/pedis. I came in for a pedicure in the afternoon and was done in about 40 minutes. I was offered tea during my service and was able to lounge in their comfy chairs and write emails all throughout. Pedis go for $ 33, and if you want a quick dry it’s an extra $ 2. With a ton of OPI colour choices and friendly owner, I’m willing to come back again. Just note that the actual manicurist doesn’t speak much English; if you know Chinese it’ll help a lot.

Staffs were friendly and offered tea, but their skills didn’t seem like professionally trained, very rough, and little careless with their craft, didn’t pay attention with my instructions, will not visit again.

Did a long search for nail salons in SG. Finally decided to check this one. Good service with friendly and patient staff. They offer both gel and acrylic manicure and use OPI products. The result is good and the price reasonable for SG standards. The interior is lovely and I like the idea of donating 5% to an animal welfare. They work quick and professional-mani/pedi didn’t take longer than 2 hours. Most important: they consult honestly and only sell you what you need.

Tucked away above a Giant Supermarket, this is a lovely little salon, where service is always friendly, there’s a nice view out to the street below, and you can expect a pedicure that lasts all month. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and they offer multi-treatment packages. Advisable to book in advance.

I found out about this nail salon from my friend and despite it’s location, I think it’s one of the better nail salons I’ve been to in Singapore. Kuching Nail Spa is on Joo Chiat Road and not really close to any major MRT/bus stops. It IS quite close to Katong 112. The service was great and I enjoyed the fact that there were only a few seats in the salon. It made me feel a little bit more special and that attention was being given to me. I got the Classic Mani and Pedi and I thought the package was worth it. The lady who served me was great! I am quite choosy with colours and she helped me out with choosing the perfect nail colour. You also get a cup of tea(flavour of your choice) and the manicurists that work there are fast but also do their job well. I enjoyed the mani and pedi I got there. Will definitely be returning.
