Best popcorn I’ve ever had. I’m not from Singapore but it was so worth trying. As a foreigner, I found the staff patient when trying to decipher what I was saying ! Haha. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is because of the price ! 21SD for a large, which in all honesty is what would be considered a medium in New Zealand, in saying that we did order one of the specialty flavors(caramel & macadamia). Usually when price and quantity is effected I’d rate it 3stars. but it just tastes way too good for that ! Comes in a cute little package, very well presented & in a good quality bag to keep it fresh !

Best popcorn in singapore! Well, really the only popcorn company I’ve seen so prominently in singapore… I’ve honestly never really found popcorn all that special – I would never imagine that me of all people would cave and buy this expensive popcorn for myself. I mean, caramel corn is good, I just don’t have a sweet tooth and don’t crave it at all. I go to Garrett to buy bags of popcorn for my uncle’s staff. They really seem to enjoy it, so I thought I should try getting into it too. They have a variety of flavors including macadamia nut(I’m from hawaii, so that’s pretty cool for me!). Their most popular flavors are the cheesy corn and the caramel corn. The genius who decided to mix these two flavors in the same bag should be awarded… I mean, I really never thought popcorn could taste so good! It’s so addicting! Sweet and salty together in the same bag?! Amazing! I ended up taking a partially eaten bag home with me on the plane. It lasted a few days without getting soggy or stale! very impressive! The popcorn is a little expensive, but if you’re frugal like my cousins, you can satisfy your cravings with their samples. Otherwise, that yummy sweet and salty popcorn smell will draw you in and you’ll be paying a pretty penny for a bag of popcorn you thought you’d never buy.

Best popcorn in Singapore, fullstop. What I normally hate about popcorns is how unsatisfying they can get, in that the sweetness can be so inconsistent, or that it tastes flat and not crispy, or that its not quite buttery enough when you asked for it salted. I find no such issues with Garrett. If the fragrance emanating from each stall doesn’t bring you in, I don’t know what will. I always feel tempted whnever I’m around, and often crave no more than their standard best selling caramel flavour. The caramel is… well it is caramel which is a superior taste to mere sugar coating, and they don’t at all have the feel of a microwave popcorn that theatres always seem to serve up. They may not be very cheap, but the portions are huge and you will inevitably be saturated by sweetness after a while, so maybe you don’t want to get greedy — to date I don’t know anyone who has managed to finish it by themselves, so you know your tummy is in good hands too!

Whenever you walk pass any of their stall, there tend to be a sweet caramel smell in the air. Of course, it manages to lure me to their stall and try their popcorn sampling. They are really generous in giving out the samples. You get to try their cheese and caramel at the same time. To me, I prefer their caramel popcorn. Warm and caramel popcorn totally win my heart. However, too many of it will tend to make me sick of it. Hence, I would suggest that it would be better to mix your popcorn combination with their caramel and cheese. Their cheese popcorn is really nice as well. Garrett popcorn really serves premium popcorn. It is a bit pricey but the quality of it rules it all.

I don’t really get the appeal of Garret Popcorn. Yes it is yummy, but after your fifth or six bite, you start to feel sick(at least I do) They have two main flavors, cheese and caramel with latter having the option of nuts. The kernels are large and its is crispy and yummy. But again, you can only have so much of this popcorn. And honestly, I think its WAY overpriced as well.
