Fish & Co. at Nex needs to learn a thing or two from The Manhattan Fish Market. I didn’t have a bad experience there but it definitely wasn’t the best either. First things first, I’ll talk about what I like about this Fish & Co. outlet. The restaurant is surprisingly quite and without much din despite it being exposed to passing shoppers. Secondly, the staff members here are quite friendly. Their mocktails are quite good and I love how these beverages are served in a giant mug. I’ve always loved the idea of serving food in a pan too! Fish & Co. really used to be phenomenal back then but I guess quality kinda took a holiday in recent times. I ordered the Seafood Platter for 2 and it came to me about twenty minutes later in a really cold state. Furthermore, the quantity is smaller than I used to remember from other outlets. My mum and I shared the platter but we weren’t exactly satisfied or full from it. This is weird though because we’ve had much larger portions and tastier platters at other outlets in town. Also, I really don’t mind the 10% price hike but if you’re going to cut down on portion size and food quality, it isn’t exactly fair to us, is it? Guess we’ll still stick to the yummylicious Manhattan Fish Market then!
