Durian Mpire

My family and I are quite familiar with Durian mainly because my parents grew up in the province where Durian is a norm. Being born and raised in the City, I couldn’t get used to the smell. Hence, I opted for the Durian candy. But then came Durian Mpire.
I am not a big fan of durian because of the smell. But if it’s incorporated with something like cream or milk, or is resulted in a creamy texture, it eliminates the smell, leaving that durian goodness. In the spirit of unity with the durian eating family, I decided to try their durian puffs. It did not taste artificial since they use real fruit, but I have to say, I need a lot of time to get used to it. For me durian tastes salty and creamy (I know it’s weird).

This shop may not be as popular as other durian puff makers, but Durian Mpire has the best durian puffs that I’ve sampled. They remain affordable at $ 4.80 for a box of six and pure durian pulp is used. I fell in love with the pastry at first bite. They melted in my mouth and brought me to heaven. The company is generous with the creamy filling as well, and its simple, practical packaging helps keep prices low, which is another bonus.
I have tried the durian sandwich, durian crêpe and durian pudding, and don’t find them as delectable.
