Burger Up

This is the most ridiculous ‘fast food’ outlet. Service was brisk. But fish patty and rice are bland and dry, only to accompany by a palm sized full of tartar sauce. The chicken is okay but slightly on the dry side. Vegetables are surprisingly fresh but insufficient given the price of nearly $ 20 for 2 set meals.
Quality of food definitely needs a haul over. Need to see more for the next visit.

Something different from the normal fast food restaurant. Ordering ways are with the touch screen now. I’ve tried the fish with double cheese and ham burger set. But it doesn’t taste as good as the mushroom beef with turkey bacon. After ordering, will have to wait for your queue number. The service is good and fast. Overall, this restaurant is a not bad. Will be back to try the rest.

Just now, I went to Burger Up to have this dinner with my mum. The burger’s chicken was juicy and tasty, with delicious bacon, cheese and barbecue sauce, the fries were crispy, not bad not bad.
Part of the customer service was not bad as it’s quite difficult to squeeze out the tomato & chilli sauce, a male staff offered his help, part of the customer service can be improved by giving customers a little bit more smile :-)

I had no idea about this burger outlet until my friend mentioned to me about it. Currently, it has only one outlet, at Yishun Ten Complex (just beside Northpoint); Golden Village is located there.
The concept of this fast food restaurant is different from the others such as Burger King and Macdonald’s. One has to use the computer to place an order and the good thing about it is you can either order a DIY (Do-​it-​yourself) burger or order the set meal which consists of rice and burger meal. After you select your meal, head to the counter to make your payment. You receive a receipt with a number, do look out for your number to collect your meal. Easy and fast process. Whole procedure is fast unless someone takes his own sweet time placing his order.
I decided to go for the burger meal, I had the pepper beef burger which is pretty decent for a local burger. At the price of $ 7 plus, I got myself a drink, coleslaw and burger (set meal).
The fast food restaurant may be big but it gets busy during meal times, so go early or after meal hours to grab a decent place. I don’t like the chair, it gets uncomfortable after a while, maybe it’s a hint for customers not to hang around the restaurant for too long.
Overall, it’s nothing special, but at least it’s a different experience compared to eating at the common restaurants such as Burger King and Macdonald’s. If you are nearby Yishun, drop by there to give it a try.
