The place is not crowded on weekday nite. In fact by 9pm I’m the last customer around. Tried the River Prawn N Mussels Aglio Olio($ 16.90++) Spicy, garlicky, plus the creamy roe from the prawn which makes it yummy! Top up $ 7 to make it a complete meal with Soup + Brownie + Drink. The soup is like canned type but has shredded chicken in it. The brownie is not bad, decorated with chocolate sauce.

Came here with a big group of friends for a birthday lunch on a weekend. We had seats because we reserved. The outlet is not that big, so reservations on weekends are probably recommended. They have quite an extensive of regular American diner food from salad to sandwiches and pastas and grills. Probably what sets it apart from another similar joint like Swensen’s is that they have a few cajun and creole inspired food — spicy hot stuff that I always welcome! I enjoyed the waffle cheese melts(waffle fries with cheese) — breeks is the rare few who serve waffle fries. I also enjoyed my main of baked dory — the fish was tender with simple flavours. On the whole we were mostly satisfied with our individual dishes. Only wished the service would be more attentive and it would be nice if they could serve all our food not too far apart from each other. Some of us had to wait really long for our dishes, we only got it when the others were almost finishing. Breeks is one of the choices if you’re looking for halal western food but its not one of the best.
