This is a fantastic place to pick up a quick bite in between shopping. I tried the cheese toast(crispy, loads of garlic, and a hint of sweetness) and loved that it was huge enough to fill me up. I also got the Pork floss bun which I ate later. This one was a soft, chewy bun, covered with a thin layer of mayo-like sauce and then topped with spicy pork floss. So good! Both these for 2.90. Incredibly reasonable, good variety, and quick service.

i’m totally biased towards all Bread Talks in general but given this location, an extra star b/c it gets right to the point. when you’re in a busy location, just get down and dirty, and just give me 2 things: the popular best-sellers and quick service so i can get to the next station b/c i’m a tourist on the go— a quick go, may i add ;) love the coconut bun and haikado dome, or whatever you call it, it’s a winner!

Conveniently located next to the escalator leading to the Level 1 and near the entrance of Orchard MRT station, BreadTalk is the place to go for a bun/sandwich breakfast or quick afternoon refuel. The place is a bit small with space for only 2 persons standing back to back each other along the aisle. The selection of buns is like any other BreadTalk shops, with flosss(perennial favorite for most), bak kwa delight, tuna, bacon and cheese, sunflower, cranberry cheese, etc. There are also some muffins and steamed cakes for sale. Next door is Toastbox where you can also get your caffeine fix.

Bread Talk is a great place in Singapore to grab either a cheap quick snack when shopping on Orchard Road, or a piece of cake when you feel like indudging. The Road Hog, for instance, is a roll stuffed with pork, and I think egg and maybe a few other ingredients. It’s like a self contained burger. The Floss is also another great roll they can’t seem to keep in supply. Of the cakes, I think I only have had the chocolate cake which was really decadent and I don’t even think I finished it. I question the Black Forest cake which looks beautiful, but nothing like what the Germans would create. All the desserts look beautiful though. If I have a chance to go back to Singapore, I will be stopping here!

The Bread Talk in Wisma is a good place to go if you are heading to the MRT and just need a quick bite or need to buy bread for the house. Lines can sometimes get a bit long during peak hours but the cashiers are always very fast with their service. Bread Talk is famous for their pork floss buns(which I personally don’t like that much) Their butter sugar rolls are soft and buttery and very filling. Also a good place to get freshly made sliced bread.
