Nice café around the Keong Saik area. Noticed this place after one of my friends took a picture of the«flower pot» dessert and posted it on her social media apps. It is not difficult to find this place. Walkable distance towards Outram Park MRT. Place was pretty spacious. It has high and low tables with mismatched chairs. When you walk in you will see the display glass filled with flowerpots or cakes(cheesecakes, rainbow cakes, etc) and lists of their available menus for easy viewing. You will also be greeted by the servers. I eyed on the flowerpots and it has three flavors: strawberry, banana and double chocolate. Went for the crowd favorites — Banana. The flowerpot was served with a wooden coaster and a stainless steel spoon shaped like a spade. You could see the drizzles of chocolate crumbs, sprinkles of nuts and two stone shaped chocolate with a straw filled with two colorful artificial flowers. Underneath all the interesting ingredients is the banana pudding. It is not sweet and it has banana textures on it. It was a little thick for me but the ingredients aided in giving the crunch and sweetness to the pudding. Price wise it was reasonable(below $ 15) and the café has varieties of coffee or tea that can accompany your dessert. Will come back to try out their strawberry pudding another time ;)

Whipped cream. Chocolate pocky. Chocolate ice cream. Chocolate cake. Ice covered in chocolate. I could literally buy all the ingredients in a supermarket and put this dish together in 2 minutes. It was so much chocolate that halfway, it became hard for even 2 people to finish. AND! It was served in a lame measuring cup. Really? Now I seriously can put this dish together in 2 minutes.

I love this hidden gem! It’s a chain but since it is the only one in Singapore, it is good enough for me! I’m so happy there’s a cute and happy café in Singapore where the food tastes amazing and looks so novel! Bright and good ambiance! Food: We got the flower pot banana pudding. So delicious and it wasn’t too sweet! Love the texture with chunks of banana inside! Favorite item! That wasn’t enough. So we got the bingsu as well! The ice cream was delicious and creamy. The red beans and almond nicely flavored the ice! I also got the honey Yuzu drink, great to soothe your throat in the hot Singapore weather! Can’t wait to be back! Such a wonderful place. I’m looking forward to try the cotton candy drink and Oreo bomb!

Slipped on a Banana Peel. We’ve been walking pass this shop for the longest time, but because of its 9pm closing time, we could never make it in time to try one of their interesting desserts. This time however, we managed to get there just before 9 and they were happy to let us order as there were still plenty of people inside. Looking at the menu, we decided to go for something extra sinful! The Oreo Bomb! The description was perfect, Oreo cookie ice cream on a hot frypan. After trying the dish, all I can say is that it bombed… Big time! For $ 12, you’d expect something creative, something so delightfully sinful and memorable that even before leaving, you’re already planning your next visit back. However, what we got was a slip shot, corner cutting, zero creativity desert. The only thing that was interesting about this dish, was it being served in a hot pan. There was no change in the texture or flavor of the Oreos and the ice cream was just a plain vanilla ice cream with sprinkles of Oreo on top. A 3 year old kid could have served me that dessert and i wouldn’t have know the difference. For now, if I’m craving anything in a hot pan, I’m heading over to Swensen’s for their white chocolate blonde.
