In a word: Lush.
That is the feeling Aramsa Garden Spa evokes in me whenever I pay them a visit. Nestled in the heart of Bishan Park, the spa is a tropical oasis that provides an array of services such as massages, scrubs, facials, and weight loss therapy. There is also a laser skin care facility on site should you desire a more intensive skin treatment.
After checking in at the front desk, you are led to an adjacent building where the changing and treatment rooms reside. There, you change into robes and commence to have some ginger tea in their private sitting room. Treatment rooms are clean, chic, and have a view of the garden, which in itself is very calming and relaxing (couples rooms also available). After your treatment, you are led back to the sitting room where tea and cookies are offered before you head to the changing room where you may choose to unwind in the steam room, have a shower semi-​outdoors, and change back into your clothes.
What I enjoy about them is their non-​pushy demeanor. They won’t try to hard sell you on products and packages unless you seem interested, and they don’t chase you out after your treatment is over. You are allowed to take your time, unwind, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and just relax.
The only downside to this place is that they are somewhat pricey, so be prepared to fork out the cash for your visit there. This is definitely a luxury spa — there are no dodgy thinly partitioned walls or unsavory therapists/​products. If you’re into ambiance and great services, this is the place for you.

Want to enjoy a relaxing massage in lush greenery and not pay exorbitant prices? Aramsa would be your answer. It’s not the cheapest spa around but you can hardly beat the neat location in the newly revamped Bishan Park 2.
Upon signing in, you’d be led to the changing room where a yutaka awaits. Security is safe and your belongings will be locked up while you enjoy your massage. Outdoor rain shower and sauna facilities are available on site and you can use them after your session. Chill out at the comfortable lounge with the complimentary ginger tea and biscuits while you wait for your therapist.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are comfortable. I went for the Aramsa touch massage (1h) and it was very relaxing. Friend did the intense massage and she was very satisfied with the firm massage.
For regular massages, you could sign a package. $ 999 for 10 sessions of 1h massages. Pick from their 108 – 128 range of massages and they are all charged as part of the package. You could share the package with your friends or family too.
Will definitely be back. I spotted an outdoor bath tub in the spa room. ;)
