Amidst the cacophony of stalls in one of Singapore’s last wet markets lies a gem. Here’s where you can get all manner of fresh ground spices, dried herbs and a variety of pastes. Anthony is more than happy to help offer anything from basil to bay leaves, garam masala to gravies and pastes. Each packet of spice is carefully labelled, and his curry powders and pastes are proudly proclaimed as famous. To help intrepid cooks, he also includes recipes, and volunteers his blogspot site, where photos of finished products and additional recipes are posted.
