We each ordered a set that came with a starter, bun, main and dessert. On weekdays there is free tea/coffee but not on weekends. Starter: Threadfin fish on a bed of mashed potato Salad — nice too. Best bun! Soft and warm. Cream of mushroom soup — good, not heavy. Sirloin steak — good, just as I had ordered. Far better than the one at Wooloomooloo. Corn on the cob — Super lousy, tasteless & hard. Guava mousse cake — never had this before but it’s nice. Their most popular dessert is tiramisu. The other choice was ice cream. Overall a very good meal. Reasonably priced for the quality.

Mmm… wagyu. This is my husband’s most favorite steak house in Singapore. He swears they marinate their meats using some ‘special’ sauce which he can’t explain. And he’s right, they do taste good. Juicy and tender as well. Although I am not a big steak fan, I don’t mind dining here either because the pastas, especially the seafood/urchin, are light and tasty. I’ve tried their chicken a few times as well and was not disappointed. The desserts are definitely not to be missed. Btw, the freshly baked bread is our kids’ favorite. Sure, a bit pricey, but not unreasonable compared to the competing steak houses in the country. Service and ambiance are both okay, and reservations are recommended.

The ribeye steak was perfect(appx $ 55SG). The bottle of wine was average. Service staff was polite but not memorable. Seating was okay. View was pretty nice. Love the dinner set. Salad and mushroom soup was also done well(though nothing too special). Overall, worth it =)

The Food: We got the set for all of these mains(below). The set includes a salad, prawn spring roll & breaded prawns starters(the prawn spring roll came out a little cold though), soup(lobster chowder — love it!) for an additional $ 10. 1. Spaghetti salmon row & abalone set $ 33 — A fusion of east & west! The salmon row and abalone was topped off with seaweed strips :) — Overall ok. 2. Chicken grill $ 38 — Loved it! The chicken was so tender and succulent! They grill it and serve it on a hotplate. — A generous portion was given too. 3. Tenderloin steak(medium well) $ 57 — The beef was not over cooked, definitely juicy which was good. I had mine medium well so I was happy they didn’t over cook it like most places. — Portion wise it was small. Service: Good. Very efficient(even on a friday night). Ambiance: A colonial yet modern & clean cut setting(very korean drama serial). The servers had to wear a french-maid like outfit(not the sexy kind, mind you) but it was still a bit strange to see the restaurant have its staff wear such uniforms. I can’t imagine the servers like it much? I guess it contributes to the overall theme of the restaurant? Though I would stil eat there even without the french-maid uniforms being worn. It’s definitely about the food & service. Tip: this place serves THEBESTBREAD! It’s freshly baked and each person gets one. The bread is fashioned like a cube with a little top cap. When you pull it off, you can see the steam escaping from within — that’s how fresh it is! :) delicious.

Jap style steaks with miso sauce. Tip: Order your steaks with meat temperature lower than you usually do. a medium rare order usually turn out«medium» due to the hotplace that continues to cook the steak.

Love the Rib-Eye steak set — comes with an appetizer, soup, dinner roll, salad, dessert, in addition to the steak! You can choose whether you want a plain dinner roll or a garlic bread. The juicy steak comes sizzling in a hot plate with the right amount of sauce. We went there a few weeks ago, and the service was top notch, and there were 16 of us!
