Act Point Salon

Although this outlet will be closing soon, and I’ll have to move this listing to The Review Graveyard, there’s nothing wrong with writing a review anyway, right? :)
I like this location, as it’s on Orchard Road though a 7 – 10 minute walk from the MRT. It is not as big as the salon at Bugis, but the stylists here still get the job done!
I used to go here just for haircuts, but realized that hair rebonding is still an option! Ivy is my go-​to stylist.
I like how they give you hot tea on arrival. Not sure what shampoo they use when they wash your hair, but it has a pleasant smell! I also appreciate how they have these plastic things that cover and protect your ears so they don’t get product on them/​get burned with a flat iron. They will tell you if any promotions that are going on, but don’t hard sell you on anything.
At the end of December, they will close down this outlet due to rent increase. In the end they decided that closing an outlet would be better than charging higher prices to long time customers, which I appreciate! But not to worry, the stylists here will move to the Dhoby Ghaut location.
