Do you know why this 4 fingers place missing 5th finger? I tell you why, the missing middle finger is missing cause it’s shoved up the management assholes and got stuck in there, yeah!!! It is such a shame and disgrace to have such a shitty food served and claim it to be freshly cooked… what a bunch of lies!!! I got sick eating this garbage food that I would not feed to my dog. We ordered 12 pieces of wings and two orders of fries. When our order was ready for pick up, sat at a table, first bite the chicken was cold and I want to swear it was pre-cooked. I was pissed off that I went to the window again and told the server, what kind of garbage is this and why cold? «sorry, no problem» the person at the window replied. He took the chicken back(12) pieces and ten minutes later the chicken basket came back with more than 12 pieces. they heated the chicken ! How I have no idea if they used microwave or fried it again adding few more pieces. The chicken looked so dark, stinky smell to it and the color near the bone was not your normal color you see in fresh chicken. we tried two pieces and that was it. Very disappointing indeed and I don’t know what type of people eat this shit and call it yummy!!! I think they need their taste buds checked. The fries was ok.

One thing I dislike about many of the Korean fried chicken joints in Singapore is that these joints never seem to change their oil. Don’t get me wrong, 4 fingers is pretty darn good(similar to Bonchon in NY in taste but horrible cooking) and it def has a lot of potential, but the actual restaurant itself screws up the chicken during it’s frying process. I don’t know if they are just being shady and super cheap with the oil changing or if they overfry the heck out of the thing, but most of the time when I place an order, my fried chicken comes out looking more black than normal. Korean fried chicken I know has a light brown/gold color that is plump and juicy in taste. Instead, I get dark brown/near black chicken that is so tough to chew that it leaves me feeling frustrated, because the sauce is great and I could’ve had a great chicken. 4 fingers, please. change. your. oil! at least once a day please!(or more, since you usually have lines forming out the restaurant)

Actually the worst Korean Fried Chicken I’ve had in my life, and I’ll let you know that I’ve had my fair share. My sister and I wanted to visit because we heard news that they were expanding, thinking it was a good try. However, it was more disappointing than any place with so much hype. I ordered a 6 piece combo of the soy garlic and spicy mix as well as seaweed fries and a small drink. It was overly priced and definitely not worth the value of the meal. The service was mediocre but they are truly cheapskates, only allowing me one wet wipe. I asked the cashier if I could have another wet wipe but she said it costs extra. If I am not being provided utensils, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to get more than one wet wipe. Good thing I had wet wipes in my purse so both my sister and I could wipe our hands. The chicken wings size were so difficult to look at. For one thing, one half of each of the wings were burnt into the meat. Secondly, they were dry, overcooked and then obviously been sitting under a hot lamp(which I confirmed for myself later). Thirdly, the sauces were so tasteless and so salty at the same time. There was such a pathetic coating of sauce on my chicken with no real distinction between the soy garlic and spicy, yet it was surprisingly very salty. Thank goodness the fries were so bland that it was able to balance the flavors. Fourthly, the fries were a pathetic attempt, the McDonald’s shaker fries with seaweed tastes 100 times better than the one at 4 Fingers. Literally, this meal was a waste of money, time and more importantly fat and calories. I would not recommend this place, especially consider taking a peak into their kitchen. There’s about more than 100 pieces of chicken just sitting, over-cooked, and lazily painted with sauce by the employees. The fries aren’t even kept hot and chicken was at best warm when I received my order. Take your money elsewhere. Please. For your own sake.

Whenever I find myself at Ion and I get hungry, this is my go-to place. The signature wings are consistently tasty and crispy. This is better than the drumstick. Sometimes the fries are soggy though. My bugbear is the uncomfortable bar-type seating at the big table. I guess it’s their way of making you eat and run to ensure fast turnover!

I still have not figured out what makes this place so great! Do not be fearful of the line, every minute waiting is time well spent. To make yourself feel better, once you get your order put in and buzzer handed to you, walk across to the Salad place and order yourself a nice salad take away. By the time you have that, your chicken may be ready. Eat the chicken AND the salad, and you will feel healthy!

This place is my guilty pleasure! I know it’s not the healthiest option but it’s definitely one of the tastiest! The chicken is always super crispy and the taste is just right. Its good food fast. Only problem I’ve encountered at this location is seating. Since its always packed there is never any seating. No worries though — if you stare at someone long enough — they’ll tend to eat quicker and get up!

I do like the small size fried chicken here and I am glad it is still around since it opened a few years ago. The menu has expanded over the years and now includes rice, wraps and salad options. I decided to try to the chicken rice set which has 3 pieces of chicken(wings or drumlets), kimchi coleslaw and rice. Combo gets you a drink. The rice, sprinkled with seaweed strips, reminded me of Tori-Q’s rice. It was not the usual rice, maybe it was Japanese or Korean grains? The kimchi slaw was interesting, creamy and slightly tart, not spicy to me. The chicken which I requested for a mix(soy garlic or hot) and they were a bit on the salty side. They were also not that spicy to me. I still like them though. I would stick with the basics next time and just focus on the crispy chicken and either have that alone or with fries. The fries were pretty good, based on previous experiences. The queue is madness during lunch time and after. I realize it is because there is usually one cashier doing everything — taking order, getting drinks, payment. Plus it does not help the entire menu is only on the counter, and with so much choices, first time or indecisive customers will also hold up the line. Those items on the board are only the popular or standard items. Then you get those who ordered take-away but still sat down on the dining-in chairs, giving another illusion of a packed place.

Saw this when I was walking around ION today. Long line do I thought I give it a try. Worst Korean Fried Chicken ever. It was dry and the sauce was not even close to being spicy. I saw them preparing my order, essentially all the chicken had been pre-cooked and piled high on the counter. They then spend time to print on the sauce for each order. So instead of cooking to order, which all Korean Chicken place do they spend the time painting on the sauce so you don’t have too much. Waste of time.

All the hype + perpetual queues regardless of time of day, I had to check this place out. I ordered a mixed box which consisted of 3 wings and 3 drumlets in both flavors, soy and garlic, and hot and spicy. The chicken was too salty, especially the soy and garlic flavor. Also, I would recommend going for either drumlets or drumsticks. Don’t bother with the wings because to achieve the level of crisp, the chicken pieces are over fried. Hence, the wings become very hard and dry. At least the drumlets remain juicy on the inside. Still prefer KFC any day!

During my stay in SIN I kept walking past the ION outlet and seeing the queues out the front. Initial impression was it was a KFC(Kentucky) knock off but upon investigation, I found out it was the other KFC(Korean) and had to try some. So I braved the queue one evening and got some take out to bring back to my hotel. I got the #1 combo which was 6 pieces of chicken, a serving of kimchi fries and a drink. I was afraid that in the few minutes it would take me to get back to hotel the chicken would lose some of it’s crispiness. Boy I was wrong, this was the most crunchy morsels of chicken I have ever had — and I eat a lot of chicken. The double or triple frying technique definitely has worked without drying out the centre of the chicken. The spicy batter with the crispy skin was awesome and I will be no advocating bring 4 fingers to Australia! The kimchi flavoured fries were great and held quite a bit of punch. The high turnover ensures you get freshly fried chicken and fresh fries so I suggest that you only buy when there IS a queue!

This outlet always has long lines. Try coming at non peak hours. that was my tip from some time back… to my surprise when i went on a Monday evening, there was no line. I placed my order for a seafood salad to go and it wasn’t too long before i receive my order. sadly, i made the wrong choice to have that to go because the salad was overly soggy when i got home. bad move– i could hardly finish it because it was too salty! i do have to say service was better than the last time i was there. maybe because they have a new cashier and the kitchen staff weren’t as rude. however, there was loud slamming of trays in the kitchen followed by some staff shouting during my short wait in the restaurant.

Probably one of the best KFC(Korean Fried Chicken) in Singapore! Worth queuing in their forever-long-queue at peak hours!

Dude, this place should be called CRACKCHICKEN. Really good. Only compliant is that the portions are small and it does take a while to get your grub on especially if you are in a hurry for lunch. Highly recommend the Chicken Burger. Their recommended Katsu Burger is also quite unique, filled with kimchi coleslaw wrapped in a fried golden bao. This would be a great concept back in the US! Overall, I think that all Korean food in SIngapore is over priced, but at least this one has some damn good chicken! Will be back.

Dragged here by a friend who claimed the chicken served here is «out of this world», I guess I have to agree with her. Just that it’s horribly bad. It’s either too Sticky and sweet, or with the soy garlic, too salty. The portions are tiny and the prices they charge, I think its ridiculous. I rather go to a hawker centre and get BBQ chicken wings there. I really don’t get the fuss about this place, and I’ve yet to return. Maybe it’s just me that’s weird.

My friend introduced 4 fingers to me as an upmarket KFC. I beg to differ. To me it trumps KFC, and is possibly in a different league altogether. It is true that it is pricier but if you love fried chicken as much as I do, you will understand why I’m that willing to part with my money for 4 Finger’s chicken. Perhaps their flavours do the trick. Both Soy Garlic and Hot & Spicy pack a punch and are fantastic but I tend to prefer the Hot & Spicy as I love anything/everything spicy. The chicken is tasty through and through and the skin is absolutely sinful yet irresistible. The chicken is fried nice and crisp on the outside, yet remains really juicy and tender inside. A paradise for fried chicken lovers!

Giving KFC a good run for their money is 4 Fingers! I am surprised why they haven’t managed to get more outlets up and running considering a place like Wendy’s has mushroomed across the island giving burgers a bad name. I don’t know how 4 Fingers does it but they manage to get the chicken crispy and crunchy on the outside but still extremely tender inside. You get to choose between soy garlic or hot & spicy flavour — both fantastic marinades that coat and cling to the crispy chicken skin. Get a bucket of chicken, a stash of beer and head home to while the evening away with a good movie.

One of my favourite fried chickens! 4 Fingers is why I go to ION, and it’s even why I don’t mind the New Delhi airport so much(they actually have one there.!). I love it THAT much. I guess it’s because it is crispy and tasty and it comes in two flavours that are very east Asian in taste: soy garlic, and hot & spicy. The outside of the chicken is crispy and crunchy, the two sauces are both fantastic in their own way, and the insides of the chicken are adequately marinated. Guilty pleasures.

4 Fingers Bonchon Crispy Chicken is Korean styled fried chicken from New York and it really is super addictive! There are two sauces to choose from — soy garlic and hot & spicy … both are equally awesome depending on your mood and preferences. What I love most is the crispy crunchy skin and how it stays that way even after an hour or two. The skinny fries are also pretty good … but really, the star of the show really is the chicken!
