16 foot high play structure for toddlers and kids! Kick back and enjoy a Big Mac and free WiFi while your child/children go crazy in the Play Palace. It’s McDonalds so you know what to expect in terms of food. But, you’re really paying for a cheap means of distracting your child for a little while.

This was the only place that was open at 6:00 am. Their coffee isn’t actually bad. Their machine was down, therefore, I couldn’t get a latte but they offered me a discount on just the coffee and didn’t charge me for a syrup shot.

McDonalds value is getting worse and worse these days. Just ordered a McChicken sandwich and 6 nuggets. $ 10!?! Seriously? So puny now too. Also I asked for my receipt at the first window. They said I could pick it up at the next window. When I got to the next window they told me they threw it away. WTH?

I went to McDonald’s today so I could get a quick lunch and hurry off to a faraway location. I got a Angus Deluxe without a bun and a Caesar salad(they didn’t have the garden salad!) without croutons and bacon. Normally, they would make a discount of around a dollar for each product(this happened at UBC’s McDonald’s). Here? No, nope, nada! I spent a little over a whooping eight dollars for this meagre meal and will describe my disappointment below. The Angus Deluxe: There is little to be excited about the actual burger(the picture sure looks tasty!). The patty is a little shy from cold and like the BLT, soggy. The patty is very thin, far from what a burger should be(at this price anyways). On top are the usual ingredients: mustard, mayonnaise, pickles, lettuce and a tomato slice. The whole product had uniform taste. Gross. The«Caesar salad»: Nothing to say here. I opt out using the sauce(the cheese is greasy enough) and chomped down it all. It wasn’t good, but it wasn’t bad either. Service is quick but the food is horrible(A&W has better *warm* burgers, mm’kay?) Verdict: For my eight dollars, I’d get a better deal at UBC’s food truck«Hungry Nomad» and other food trucks. At least the food tastes freshly made, has a huge portion(at least for my size) and comes with a side of fries dressed in salt and pepper.

They usually get my order wrong. I hate driving back to get it corrected. Waste my time and they usually don’t care too.

High time I wrote a review for this place. What better way to start off 2014 other than with the fast food king of the hill — the golden arches. Why did I pick this one? Because I come here the most and I even worked here as a teenager. This location is in the neighborhood that I grew up in and now my daughter likes coming here for the play area with the grandparents. Surprisingly, I’ll say that the play area maybe the greatest thing that they did. Once the kids are in here, they’ll forget about eating the(low nutrition) food, provided that you feed them something before entering. Sit in and have coffee while the kids go nuts. That’s what I do at least. However, a McNugget here or there is OK. Be tolerant of the noise tho. There’s a lot of loud children. As for the food, it is what it is. Once in a while won’t kill you, and it’s certainly a once every two month thing for me. I’ve probably had more coffee here than anything else solid. A cheese burger and small fries is about the only thing I can stomach from McDonalds these days. 24 hr drive thru with double drive thru order lanes.

if you want to avoid the business of the other one towards Main st. this is it, but during lunch hr, i’m sure you’ll be fighting the lineups w/the Honda dealership next door lol. Drive thru is a bit tight but doable, just not as generous as other one.

I decided to come here on a whim, after finding out that the nearby Wendy’s closes at 2200(0200 for drive-thru). The interesting thing is that this location is 24h, when there is also another 24h McD’s just a few blocks west on the same street. Parking is ample. Beautiful. The location is a *little* too brightly lit for my liking, and the seating arrangement is a bit unusual, with the fountain drinks on an island in the middle of the restaurant. There’s also an outdoor patio and a drive-thru. Something I noticed is that there are only 2 sizes of fries now. The Medium is the same as in the 90s, but Large is equivalent of the 90s Super Size. This thing is literally twice the volume of the Medium. I think I’m going to have a heart attack. My only gripe is that the sound echoes pretty badly inside here, making it louder than most other locations. Yet another option when it comes to late-night munchies.
