This is the slowest subway. Have been here twice and they have only had 1 person working on a weekend both times with long lines. Last time we waited for 15 minutes and the line had barely moved so we left without any food! Felt bad for the poor girl who was working, managers definitely need to start staffing better.

I like this one: easy parking, WIFI& open 24 hrs. good layout, lots of room & natural light. And there’s always the option to go to Denny’s for dessert afterwards ;)

I’m writing this because I have insomnia and Unilocaling help me goes to sleep. :) I know most people aren’t really into Unilocaling Franchise type restaurants, but I was actually a big fan of this particular Subway. First off, timing, I ended up going here during Friday Night the weekend of Hallowe’en. Just around 11:45pm. The guy that was working there provided some great service. He actually started a conversation with me… which is really rare in the QSR industry. He asked me how my night was going, and even suggested the types of sauces that would complement the sweet onion chicken sub. He even asked me half way while I was eating my sub if things were good. It felt more like a restaurant than a subway. Then he proceeded to make the sandwich in a neat and clean manner, so that the vegetables weren’t just scrambled all over the place which has been an issue at other Subways in the past. So if you’re near the Canada Line late at night and happen to be dropping by around that time, I would recommend going at that time.

By far the worst Subway experience I have ever had. The woman behind the counter looked at me like I had 3 heads when I told her I wanted my sandwich on a wrap, and asked me about 3 times if I was sure. She rolled her eyes, walked to the freezer, and came back with a wrap, then asked me again if I was sure that’s what I wanted. She then continued to make my sandwich, not asking me what cheese I wanted(just went ahead and put the kind I didn’t want on it), or if I wanted it toasted. She then went to put the smallest amount of vegetables possible on it, topped with insane amounts of sauce. When it came to actually wrapping up the wrap, she pretty much threw the sides together to form a square like box of bread with smushed up fillings. Oh yeah, and the wrap clearly had just came out of the freezer because it was so cold I could feel the incyness through the wrapper and plastic bag she put it in. AWESOME!

Subway restaurants are consistently bad across their entire company for vegetarians — and this place is no exception. Despite explaining that veggie sandwiches actually have vegetables on them, every single time I order one I get the barest minimum in terms of actual produce and am required to point it out before I can get anything in terms of a decent meal. This and the complete lack of healthy variety mean that if you practice any sort of ethical eating, you probably want to give the whole chain a miss.
