Cute place with great customer service. I ordered the avocado matcha smoothie with almond milk and it was fabulous!
I would recommend this place to anyone!

Nice and quiet atmosphere, the server (probably the owner) was very nice and knows his desserts and tea. Will definitely return to try their other beverages and sweets!

We had a high tea with girls at this cute little café. Food was pretty good and tea was great. They have an interesting way picking your tea which we enjoyed a lot. Service was good, but the size of this place is a bit small. Their smoothies looked delicious too. Definitely worth checking it out.

I’ve found the best iced tea in Vancouver! I’m tired of places that use powder/​artificial flavorings or a huge amount of sugar in the tea, but this place uses high quality REAL ingredients and not sweet at all. You can really taste the difference. I got the lychee green iced tea and it was stellar! Full of natural flavours and I feel like it did well for my body. I believe it was around $ 4, more on the expensive side, but worth every penny if you like refreshing healthy flavourful tea with lots of antioxidants. I would recommend this place to everybody if they are looking for amazing tea!

Wonderful service, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful food. I went there with my boyfriend for afternoon tea and had a terrific experience. I also love their tea board that displays all the tea that they have available and information about each.

With summer around the corner, there is simply no better place to enjoy a hand-​crafted iced tea than Artisan Tea Bar. Hands down the best and most refreshing iced tea selection you will taste in Vancouver. For those looking for a healthier (and better-​tasting!) alternative to typical bubble tea drinks, Artisan also offers house-​made jelly and pearls!

I’ve continued to return to Artisan weekly for the last 6 months. It is still, by far, my favourite place in the world and for more reasons than my first review highlighted.
Firstly, the menu has updated and Phong is now offering an even bigger variety of hand crafted drinks. He’s launched gourmet tea blending, which consists of his high quality teas blended with his house made ingredients such as cured Orchard apples, organic lavender, caramel almonds, bergamot lemon peels, etc. You can have these blends both hot and cold or even as a soda (which is delicious!). Most of the previous menu is still available as well, with minor changes to the iced teas. They are still all cold brewed, all ingredients real, fresh and often house made.
Most recently, Artisan has decided to hop on board with afternoon tea. It starts this week, and with a social shopper coupon will get you afternoon tea for two for just $ 20. I’ve sampled some of what will be served for this and it is so delicious. I recommend everyone take advantage of this deal before the offer runs out. Note that it is by reservation only!
But again, besides my love for absolutely everything Artisan has on the menu, my family considers Phong family too. I started coming here only 6 months ago but I can’t see myself spending my Saturday /​Sunday doing anything else. The personality that he has, the passion for his business and his gratitude for his customers is all so genuine. If you still haven’t gone, do it!

I’ve been following Unilocal for reviews for a while, only somewhat recently actually joined, but I’ve only really wanted to review one place so far. And that’s this place, Artisan Tea Bar.
Not once in my life have I ever grown so attached and in love with a store/​restaurant/​bar/​etc. But from the first moment I walked into here with my Elite Unilocaler girlfriend, I knew it was special. I knew we were going to come back after leaving that night. And we did, and do every single weekend since then.
We were immediately warmly welcomed, not as customers, but as valued guests. The owner, Phong, made us feel at home and expressed his happiness that we were interested in his store after finding it on Unilocal.
And holy friggin heck, was i impressed. MORE than. As an avid tea fan, I was blown away by the quality of his drinks.
The first ever drink I had was his popular Matcha Avacado smoothie, and damn it was a mouthgasm. (Try it with Hemp Hearts too, it’s epic!) It has such a beautiful smoothness to it, with the subtle but noticeable Avacado finish to his top-​quality matcha. This drink is really to die for.
Since that drink, I’ve had numerous of his hot, cold, and blended tea-​based drinks, and have never been disappointed. On the contrary, almost only ever amazed. Nothing I’ve had from his creations was bad or even mediocre.
Giving that Phong has years of great culinary background, he prides in only using the freshest ingredients, and even preps, makes most of his components himself. Example, he recently introduced his line of customizable Iced Tea Sodas which he literally makes gourmet teas to use for them, like making fresh Earl Grey. People NEED to try his Lemon Earl Grey Tea Soda. I challenge you not to chug it and try to make it last, seriously.
I could rant about how amazing his drinks are all day and night, but what really stole the show of the store is Phong himself.
He is the most humble, friendly – and funny – store owner I have ever met. Super knowledgeable about everything he sells and creates, knows everything there is to know about tea, and the best part Is that he treasures his regulars. I have never met someone so genuinely thankful for their business in coming to try his drinks, and food! (His grilled cheese sandwiches are the best I’ve had in my life, I swear.) While I obviously come back for the drinks, I mainly come back for Phong who I consider an important friend in my life, and I can’t wait to see his cozy little shop grow and grow into the best thing possible – the number one Tea Bar in Vancouver. I honestly think it already is, and somehow he keeps thinking up ways to make it even better (like his interactive electronic tea wall that gives you info on whichever tea you take from the wall!).
Whether your an avid tea fan, or whether you’re someone who doesn’t even like tea, you need to go out of your way to check this place out. It’s life changing.
You will not be disappointed.

Being like most Asian people in the world I am a HUGE fan of bubble tea and I’m always down to try something new. I wouldn’t exactly call this bubble tea but they do offer little jellies as add ons! I only found this place thanks to social shopper where they had a deal for $ 15 and you get a stamp card good for any 5 smoothies or tea on the menu. That’s a pretty great deal since you’re not really limited with selection as they have a decent amount to choose from.
The man that was behind the counter (possibly the owner) was very nice and didn’t treat me any different than a full price paying customer like so many places do when you bring in a coupon of any sort. He politely explained the drinks that were available and I chose the one with the coolest name «Popeyes Vacation» which is a smoothie that has mango, avocado, spinach and lemon/​lime juice. It was absolutely delicious and didn’t taste like I was drinking a ton of unnatural sugar like most bubble tea places do.
Artisan is a really nice place that make you feel really welcome and their drinks seem to be pretty top notch. With a social shopper there’s no doubt it’s worth it here but the prices are a bit high without it. I can safely say that I am a fan.

Nice place for people who are passionate about tea. Unique blends and flavours. In an area with lots of coffee options, this place is the only tea shop that stands out. Highly recommended. Only drawback is that it closes relatively early.

I frequent here quite a bit. Their rooibos smoothies are simply amazing. Great atmosphere and the owner is incredibly friendly! I’m in love with the selection of unique tea drinks. A hidden gem in Vancouver.

LOVE this place! It’s hard to find a place that serves good tea and where you won’t leave stinking like coffee at the end. The food was wholesome and delicious. I will definitely be making this my Sunday afternoon place with girlfriends!

The staff (I suspect he’s the owner) was very passionate and knowledgeable about his tea. The items listed on the menu aren’t the kind you see in an typical bubble tea shop. He took time to explain most of the items to us and we were very happy with our order.

I was in the neighbourhood, early for my hair appointment (I hate being late and I wasn’t sure about parking here) and realized I hadn’t eaten lunch. Luckily, after doing a bit of shopping, I spied the tea bar and they promised bubble tea and food!
Excellent.
They have so many different types of tea that they can add tapioca pearls to. I chose the Tropical Bliss; so yum and perfect on such a hot day. Looking at their menu, I couldn’t decide what I wanted, and I wasn’t sure how good their food was, so I choose my standard grilled cheese sandwich. It’s amazing how many places can’t make it correctly. Not here, though; the bread was perfectly toasted, the different types of cheese were perfectly melty and chewy, not too buttery.
Even the restaurant itself is nice, such a relaxing feel and the service is really good. I might have to make this my hair appointment treat!

Amazing tea and amazing service! You can tell there is a lot of passion behind this business. They have milk alternatives which you usually do not find at a bubble tea spot. I’ve tried the caramel rooibos, black lychee and a passion fruit tea and they were all delicious! Definitely recommend checking it out.

Cute tea shop in the Fraser area that is well organized, nice dark wood interior, very good prices and a very impressive tea library. Customer service was really awesome and friendly.

I’m an iced tea fanatic and this place has the best iced tea. They use healthier types of sugars and the iced teas are packed with antioxidants. The owner is so nice and gives good recommendations as well. The décor is really cute and not pretentious, and it would be a very zen place to take your laptop and get some work done. I’m glad I only live a few blocks from here, I’m addicted!

Cute little tea shop on Fraser street. The owner is really friendly and knowledgeable and makes each drink from scratch. Both hot and iced beverages are delicious. He makes salads and sandwiches but I have yet to try them.
