(the one I received emails from — not to mention that I spoke to someone named Tina, who emailed me and saying her name was Sara) to name a few… 2. All of the company names that I searched are explicitly not accepted by BBB(Better Business Beaureau) 3. They refused to refund my $ 200 deposit a few hours after taking the deposit. The reason was that my pickup was«already scheduled». Then a few hours later they offered to reschedule, but still not refund my deposit. Luckily, my bank allowed me to dispute the charge due to the fact that I received no service. Do not give them a deposit!

To echo what the others have said, ACVL are full of excuses and not to be trusted on their word. We moved from Montréal to Vancouver. We had 30 boxes at maybe 25lbs max. They charged us for 1,500 lbs. I tried to contest with the driver but he basically told me he would hi-jack our stuff if I didn’t pay up. They added all these bogus charges as well and still, couldn’t contest with the driver(«I’m only the driver…») So we basically overpaid for this service and it pretty much sucked. Boxes were damaged and they«forgot» our box labeled computer… They brought it back(it had been misplaced supposedly) when I got it, it was torn open and pretty much destroyed. at least the computer still works. All in all, use somebody else. Do not trust these dishonest people.

we used these guys for a move fr Van to TO. Biggest mistake. Most of our furniture was damaged or had packing tape stuck to it. Guess how much money they gave us as a claim settlement? $ 90.00. Ya, that’ll fix my couch, babies crib and bed. At least I can now afford WD40 to spend hours removing bloody packing tape from all my furniture and plasma unit. We ended up with stuff that wasn’t ours as well. Couldn’t have been less pleased with these guys. And try getting anyone on the phone to talk to about this? Good luck.
