I showed up today without an appointment (which was probably not advisable) to get a haircut and a hot towel shave. Fortunately they weren’t too busy and squeezed me in.
Because I need to get my hair cut in my wheelchair, it can be awkward for the stylist but Georgia was very comfortable and accommodating.
I have never had a professional shave before so I have nothing to compare it to but after the facial treatment and shave my skin felt fresh and smooth.
Overall excellent experience. Will definitely be back!

When my partner started to lose her hair due to chemotherapy in December, we stopped by Newport Village Barbers & Stylists to see if they would be willing to shave off the rest of her hair. Choosing this shop was a carefully thought out decision… we both loved the pin-​up motif on the sign!
Our stylist, Afi, was wonderful. She was so compassionate and gentle during this emotionally difficult experience. At the end, Afi gave gave my partner a hug, charged her nothing, and said it was a gift.
Today I went back to have Afi cut My hair. We now have a new friend, and someone to cut my hair when I am in Canada. She was wonderful, and my hair looks great.
Finding someone new cut my hair is not an easy thing. I will return to Afi, and would recommend her to friends and family.
This shop typically appears busy, so I would recommend calling for an appointment.
