Not a huge fan of shawarma but love their poutine. Thick golden fries with real cheese curds that melt from the not too salty gravy. The perfect combination.

Pretty good shawarma. Staff was friendly. They know how to serve a good shawarma plate for sure.

Loved it! Their shawarma is good! They offer gluten free pitas, which is awesome and was super yummy! My new go-to for shawarma, that’s for sure! Bonus: they’re super friendly!

Decent inexpensive place offering shawarma and falafel. Apparently, this place is a chain with a handful of locations in‘Canada. They offer pita sandwiches for around $ 5 and platters for around $ 10. I thought the chicken shawarma was quite good. And their tahini sauce was quite rich and creamy as well. They also have some Middle Eastern pastries for sale too.

This is this fifth Prince Gourmet location, and the first Unilocal review as of May 24, 2014. Perhaps this is a case of the Franchise/proprietor expanding much much too quickly? Truth is, I was looking for Catch 55, which unfortunately has been replaced by yet another shawarma shop. I got sucked in by the fact they offer gluten free pitas, and their $ 3.99 sandwich opening special. I had a shorter wait waiting for my sandwich & potatoes to be served, than having my order punched in. The garlic sauce is one of the keys of a good shawarma, and the Prince’s proclamation falls short. The potatoes were average to poor as was the shawarma. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this rare celiac shawarma shop offerings. The second star is for the market people watching opportunities in the open air booths. I wish Catch 55 was still here.
