I popped in here looking for an actual functional nut cracker and not one meant for lobster. I had been to several bigger stores and come up short – this place saved me! The staff were super helpful and really knowledgeable. The sales guy even took things out of the package so I could compare them and pick which one was going to work best for me. Some top notch customer service there. All of the staff were friendly without that annoying hovering that happens sometimes when it’s getting towards closing and there aren’t many customers left in the store. So a big thumbs up from me! In addition to their selection of kitchen items they also have some gourmet items, home décor items, some bathroom stuff, and even a few things for campfire cooking. It was fun just browsing around looking for gift ideas. I also really liked their use of space in the store. Lots of downtown stores tend to seem small or cluttered just so that retailers can utilize as much space as possible for product – but I didn’t feel cramped here and that made for a pleasant browsing experience.

This kitchen accessory place is much, much bigger on the inside than how it appears when you walk past it. The store is loaded with essentials like pots and pans but also has a lot of great gift ideas too. Most of the items are kitchen related but they also carry a lot of other home accessories such as frames, bathroom accessories and some pet items too. What I like about this place is that they don’t just carry one of everything so you have some selection and it’s not often crowded and busy like other downtown shops. The staff are usually helpful although they rarely stray from the front counter and it is a large store that spans quite a ways back off of Elgin Street.
