Roma Barber Shop

I am so pleased with Roma. I have been looking for a barber/​stylist for years that knows their stuff but also doesn’t charge 50 $ for a cut. Roma does not need fancy artifacts on the walls, what they have is experience and a wonderful family run business. Their shop is a throwback to the 1960s, with the original equipment their father opened the shop with.
My hair was cut with such precision and care I felt like it was worth 50 $ but at 16 $ it is the best deal I have found in town. Their barbers are educated, trained and licensed cutters. They care equally about the best cut for that will good on you, and also put just as much care into the hygiene of their tools. I would highly recommend them and they have become my new regular cutters of choice.

Easy classic simple barber shop. They do a thorough and careful job. The price is commensurate with the area. 16 $ for a cut is the base price. I’d go back.

Such a great, authentic barber shop that prides itself on doing things the way they’ve always been done. These two brothers are efficient, welcoming, and great at their jobs.
Military history buffs will also appreciate the walls covered with memorabilia and signed photos from Canada’s top military brass.
After chatting with them, you will discover that they pride themselves on going the extra mile behind the scenes, too, taking care to ensure that their tools are in their best shape for every haircut. It’s no wonder that this family business has thrived for the past 40 years. I cannot commend their shop more highly.

Probably the best barbershops i have ever been to. The barber was amazing… took his time with the haircut. He was also very friendly and nice to talk to.

This barber shop is simple and great! It’s got an awesome old school feel and the barbers there take their time with each haircut.
I’ve had my hair cut here a few times and so far it’s one of the better barber shops in Ottawa.
The price is decent ($ 16), and definitely worth it. I would recommend this place for a haircut.

My first visit to Ottawa on business and I needed a haircut before meeting customers. This guy gave me a very good haircut. He also gave me a good suggestion for a sports pub to watch the All-​Star game this weekend. I asked about the pins on the wall and he told me some really interesting and funny stories about them. The business was started 40 years ago by his father who imigrated from Italy. I came away feeling very happy that I stopped by there for a haircut. I would definitely go there again. Haircut was $ 16.

Authentic! Worth checking out just for the experience, I’ll be going back cause they cut my hair real nice too. Shorted Roma 1 star because ultimately barbers have a limited repertoire (variations of high and tight).
