Springbank Cheese Co. – Marda Loop

I have been looking for Tete de Moine cheese for a long time. I had only ever had it while living in Europe. I thought it would be great to have this christmas and so I went hunting online for local providers. After striking out at the Italian Centre in Edmonton I finally found Springbank Cheese Co. in Calgary. They not only stock the cheese but the special curler called a girolle. Shawn, with whom I spoke to on the phone, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a friend heading down for the weekend who said she would pick it up for me so Shawn suggested I put the items on hold. I ended up choosing his location because he was by far the most responsive and friendly in my phone calls to all the locations. I called him back and he let me purchase over the phone and asked for the name of the person picking up the items. I would love to see their location in person and do some major cheese shopping. I guess the final step is seeing how quality the product is but so far so good. I’ll definitely be back!
