NEVERAGAIN!!! DONOTBUYANYTHINGHERE! Went in for a cell phone replacement… the rep was an idiot… took 2 ½ hrs for an upgrade. Starts me on the $ 70 plan. which 2 hrs in ends up not being available. then all of a sudden the $ 70 plan is GONE and now its a $ 75 plan. Put me on a plan where I lose my long distance but could not show me what I was getting as his screen did not have the option. Could not transfer my numbers although it says WEWILLTRANSFERYOURNUMBERSFORFREE. I got a bill from Rogers saying I had $ 100 in long distance charges as I no longer HAD a plan for that!!! The bill also showed me $ 157 for the phone that should have been a ZERO phone. PLEASEAVOID these people… I have bought a mini ipad and was told it did not have certain features… had to buy extra cable… got home. find out it had feature and had to return the cable… No one knows ANYTHING about ANYTHING they sell there… liars and scammers

Deerfoot Meadows is a good destination shopping centre. They have key stores like Ikea and Costco which drive most of the volume to the area. Notably, there is also a Michael’s, Best Buy, Superstore, Walmart, and Wholesale Sports. Gap and Banana also have factory stores, but sadly they’re not outlet stores. There’s also a good selection of restaurants for all budgets so you can grab lunch while you get your errands done.

Deerfoot Meadows is fairly close to my home, so I find that I frequent it quite often for groceries, or for any type of shopping where I need to get into some big box stores. Often on my circuit here is the WalMart Superstore, Real Canadian Superstore(and liquor store), and of course Five Guys Burger and Fries. I do occassionally swing by Ikea, Michaels and Marks Work Warehouse. Sometimes, A&W for a chocolate shake. What I value about this shopping center is its easy access from both Deerfoot and Glenmore. Also, I have miraculously never even came close to a parking lot accident in there. Either I’m getting smarter, or they have a layout that is not prone to people running into each other. When hitting the big box stores, it is frequently a choice whether to head to South Crossing or to Deerfoot Meadows. When either trip will do trick, Deerfoot Meadows is usually the first choice. I can simply zip in from Glenmore, and zip out on deerfoot. You just can’t beat that access! 6⁄30

One of the best shopping locations in the city. Ikea, Costco, Superstore, Best Buy, Jysk, Future Shop, Sport Chek, the Calgary Auto Mall, a Walmart Supercentre, various home décor stores, and over a dozen restaurants, including McDonalds, Starbucks, and two outstanding burger locations in Fatburger and Five Guys. In terms of sprawl, it is a massive area, by far the biggest in Calgary, and it is still growing! The commute around can be unforgiving during busy periods(Christmastime is always pure chaos, a perfect storm of tight places, icy roads and mad drivers), but any place where you can get a new couch, groceries, rollerblades, a stack of Blu-rays, with a burger and a coffee to wash it all down in one stop is quite alright with me!

Deerfoot Meadows is one of my favourite places to head out to early on Saturday mornings. This complex has grown significantly in the past 3 years. Undoubtedly the flagship stores down here are Costco and IKEA and now Walmart Supercentre. In addition you will also find Superstore, Bestbuy, Banana Republic Outlet and Gap Generation to name a few. As well there are numerous fast food and a few sit down restaurants. The good Lots of free parking One stop shopping for almost everything you need Easy access off of Deerfoot The not so good Can get crazy busy on the weekends(I go early in the morning) Continually growing(when will it stop?) All in all, I much prefer Deerfoot Meadows to making numerous stops all over the city. If you havent already done so, head down there and see for yourself, the variety and convenience of shopping here.

Getting in and out of this mall is SO annoying. I want to punch the guy who thought it would be a good idea to make those lanes so narrow, if you own a larger truck, just dont try. And the future shop has some pretty bad service. Only reason its getting 3 stars is because of Cosco, Starbucks and PetLand.

Yes Deerfoot Meadows has a lot to offer and there are great shops there. But whoever did the planning of this super center was obviously a novice. The twisting roads are horrible when it gets busy, making congestion there a huge problem in peak times. I have seen two car accidents there in the last year or so. Not enough pedestrian walk ways either. Also my biggest annoyance about the area is the lack of options for getting there. The only reasonable option is my car. Currently there is only 1 bus route that passes it and only comes every 30 min. Deerfoot Meadows also didn’t see the need for bike racks, which is stupid because the bike path is so close. Deerfoot meadows is ace and has a lot to offer, but their planning committee is clearly high

Deerfoot Meadows is one of Calgary’s largest open-air shopping complexes. While it’s big on home décor stores, it’s also got a bit of everything for everyone! In terms of home décor stores, it’s got Leons, The Brick, Home Evolution, Ashley Furniture Home Store, the Simmons Sleep Centre, The Bedroom Boutique, Kitchen & Patio, Linens ‘n Things, Pier 1 Imports and Ikea, just to name a few. And in terms of having a little bit of everything for everyone, it’s got Costco, Superstore, Eddie Bauer, Michaels, EB Games, Future Shop, Blacks, Best Buy, Lexus of Calgary, Mercedes-Benz, The Gap, H & R Block, and Walmart, again, just to name a few. Deerfoot Meadows is a one stop, no matter what you are looking for. Head on over and get lost in all its glory!
