I find myself rather annoyed after this mornings experience at your restaurant this morning. My family and I usually have dinner and special events at your restaurant and we have always received great service previously but unfortunately today was not the case. We walked in and the restaurant was half empty and we decided to look at the breakfast menu and then asked for a table. The waitress straight up advised us breakfast has finished and I advised her it’s only 10:30am and the menu says it doesn’t finish till 11am. The waitress said we are too busy so breakfast is finished. If you are going to turn away customers and provide poor service like this do not expect me to ever return as there are plenty of other restaurants on the strip that will be more than happy to provide meals so in future we will be seeking other alternatives. If you can’t cope at half capacity then maybe you should have not proceeded with the extension next door as I dread to think what it’s going to be like when your restaurant is full. Hope you consider this feedback as it would be a shame to see another resultant close due to poor management and bad service.

$ 29 for a take away pasta?! I’ve eaten here once before and whilst the food is of a generally good standard, I think $ 29 for a take away pasta was a little too much.

Had my birthday lunch here. I had chicken mango salad which tasted so fresh and good quality ingredients(however i had only one half of a cheek of mango) and my friend had calamari salad, nice and crispy and amazing aioli. Whitechocolate cake for dessert and super polite and genuine restaurant owners made my day!

Has undergone a major Reno since I was last in town. The new place is spacious and very nice. I actually ate there twice in 2 days. Lunch on Saturday was fantastic. They have a special lunch menu and I ordered the burger. Delicious. Burger, egg, cheese, generous serve of bacon as well as onions, lettuce and tomato. Very tasty salad garnish and the best fries I’ve had in ages. Really enjoyable and only $ 11. As I was staying in the area went back for dinner on Sunday. My friend ordered a pasta which was ok. I ordered the chicken schnitzel. Very disappointed. The schnitzel wasn’t crumbed very well and was slightly over cooked. The salad was nice but the fries which the day before were the standout were bordering on cold and weren’t very nice. Rather lacklustre meal for $ 27. The service isn’t very attentive. I couldn’t get the attention of a waitress so gave up and didn’t eat the fries. Disappointed after the very good food the day before at lunch. I would give lunch 4 ½ stars but dinner gets a 2 ½ and that’s mainly because I really like the new décor

Horrible food went there for breakfast with hubby, Bacon under cooked and toast was stale my tomato was green so not even ripe was tough to chew. If I could I wouldn’t even give them a star plus we dove 30 minutes to go there

In the past this was a favourite restaurant of mine, which I regularly dined at. But it appears to have changed ownership and lost much of its Italian authenticity. staff knowledgeability was sub par. Our waitress seem to know only vague, basic details of the menu and being foreign struggled to understand our questions. But, to her credit, was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We waited around 20 minutes plus for our food. Not terrible, but not great. On to the main event– the food. Overall, both my partner and I were unhappy with my meals. I ordered the grilled prawns with extra chill. The prawns came truly swimming in oil, was barely a hint of heat to speak of. My partner’s meal of chilli calamari was also lackluster, being void of spice. Both our dishes were served with salad which we both agreed was at least two days old. To wrap up, the food is not worth the cost. We paid $ 107 for two low quality dishes and two glasses of wine. Unless something drastically changes, would not revisit.

I love Catalano’s. It has great food with very generous servings at fair prices. I’ve been there possibly a dozen times over the last 3 years and it has never disappointed and I personally rate it as the best Italian restaurant in the Vic Park area(having tried a lot of them). The service can sometimes be inconsistent but that does not take away from the good atmosphere and amazing food. The pasta is really amazing with the marinara and carbonara being very good and even the steak they do is great. Definitely need to try if you have not been there before!

I often eat breakfast at Catalano’s and have never been disappointed. Good food, great service, pleasant décor. An omelette, toast and cup of coffee from Catalano’s is my fuel for a great day. If you are in Perth and haven’t tried Catalano’s yet, give it a go!

Regular at Catalano’s over the past year or so, good to see the prices haven’t gone up ! Still can get a great cappuccino for $ 5.00,to dispel the media hype on coffee prices going to rise? Service and staff need to lift to get that extra star ! Quite there this morning and they weren’t over enthused.

The meals here are huge but so they should be for around $ 25-$ 35 for pasta. They are pretty delicious though. We had a voucher from the entertainment book which bought it down to $ 90 for 3 pastas, garlic bread and a bottle of red wine. The staff were very friendly and happy to have a chat. On a Monday don’t bother making reservations though because it’s dead.

Top feeds, massive portions, sh*t service. I have been going to Catalanos for probably 5 years now and the food has never failed me, always been delicious and more than enough to fill my bottomless pit of a stomach. My only winge is the staff, they are quite rude when taking your order and always seem to act as if its a hassel when you ask questions. My fav meal from catalanos would have to be that ridiculously sized parma. Its so cheezy and delicious, comes with a mountain of chips and a huge salad(with tasty balsamic dressing). You can pay an extra $ 6 and get it with spaghetti instead, which i usually do. Not for those who dont want a big meal, perfect for the always hungry ones, like myself. It has recently undergone a revamp and is now much bigger, a nice change from being as cramped as an air asia plane.

This is a breakfast review. Please excuse me as it’s my first review. I was looking for a new place for breakfast as my mum was visiting. So we thought we’d try Catalano’s. We were greeted at the door and seated by a very friendly waitress, who took our drink requests straight away. The breakfast menu seemed basic, no real stand outs for me. We ordered a bacon and eggs, eggs scrambled and bacon crispy. And a bacon and eggs, eggs fried hard, bacon crispy with added on baked beans, hash browns and mushrooms. The prices were average for a café breakfast, each add on was $ 2 – 3. The meal sizes are HUGE! When it came out my eyes nearly popped out of my head! Ill upload a picture of the breakfast so you can see. The only downfall to the meal was the scrambled eggs, they tasted a bit weird, like they’d been sitting in a metal container on a low heat for too long after being cooked. The baked beans was a small size serving for the price, but the rest was amazing. The cappuccinos weren’t very hot, but tasted amazing, beautiful full roasted flavor, exactly like you’d expect from a Italian restaurant. The pineapple juice tasted a little too sweet, like the fake stuff you get in Bali, but it was drinkable. All in all it was a pretty good breakfast, would definitely go back again :) It was $ 47 for both breakfasts, 2 cappuccinos and a pineapple juice.
