Had lunch here at 12.20pm wednesday 17th May, 2015 with a stock broker. We have both Been dinning here for about 15 years. Perfect for business lunch meetings. Many a big deal done here while drinking Sing Tao beer. As always the food was fabulous. It is always consistent high quality. The menu is comprehensive of traditional meals. We began with lamb pancakes. A plate of two for $ 9 were sensational value and tasted brilliant. The ginger shallot scallops @ $ 28 were so succulent while the Sizzling Mongolian Lamb dish at $ 22 was unforgettable. And of course the special fried rice was packed with peas, prawns, mushrooms, ham which made you thirsty for another beer. The staff are friendly and remembered us from the many times we dine there. Discovered today that the huge Koi Carp swimming in the large pond have been living there for 15 years. They have thrived on the food scraps dinners feed them. We will return again and again.

The food was very good. Service is quick and professional. The pond with the fish is odd but kind of a nice touch. Overall I would definitely eat here again!

A lot of people I know love this place. The food ain’t bad and people seem to find the artificial carp pond, padoga and bridge(all indoors btw) endearing. Also the service is pretty consistent and the food comes out pretty fast. I guess that’s why I’ve been here so many times as part of corporate lunches. However I don’t usually get to choose the dishes that I want because its all under a pre-ordered banquet type menu, so my review of this place is kinda limiting. But here is my 2 cents worth. The food I usually get served here is fried, such as chow mien noodles, honey chicken, salt & pepper squid etc, which are all tasty and liked by most people. There is a full bar and they serve Tsing Tao beer which is ok. However in terms of décor, I’m not a fan. First of all its cheesy but the thing I hate most is that the restaurant is underground and very stifling. I like to call it the dungeon: p Personally I wouldn’t come here willingly, but some people rate this place really highly, so I guess you would just need to try and decide for yourself.
