Well no more table service late afternoon or at anytime during the day. Friday evening manager stated, ‘we are not making enough money’ to provide service, I have heard it all. Wall to wall competition, what was once my favourite café is no one I will never visit again. The staff they do have have walk around in a daze and her reply is ‘we have a lot of new staff on’…goodness, such a great location, no wonder I have noticed a decline in patronage.

There are a number of eateries along Domain road but for a brunchy style café, Café Domain seemed to draw a huge crowd. Unsurprising though because the service was quick and friendly and there is a huge choice of wraps, brunch, lunch and everything in between items. It even caters for the paleo crowds and healthy eaters, which is unsurprising considering people would probably exercise around the tan then pop in for brekkie. I ordered the chilli baked eggs and hubby ordered the chicken and kale salad. I thought hubby’s salad was a bit too mustardy creamy. I expected something quite light and refreshing to be honest. The baked chilli eggs does have a huge chilli hit so beware! I personally love it but I gave one year old bubby some and he screamed the house down. Opppsy! The portions are huge although I found the sauce a bit watery. There are certainly better breakfast places I have eaten, and the food selection is nothing out of this world special. But with great service, great standard fare and efficiency I would still recommend this place should you be around the neighborhood.

Amazing wagyu burger with chips and soft shell prawns tacos. Totally Recommended after a walk in the park.

We were biking around the domain park and stumbled onto this gem. Didn’t know what to expect as there were no prior reviews so decided to take domain breakfast and fish cake. The domain breakfast at 22 dollars seemed on the pricier side but the portion was very generous especially on bacon and baked beans so it was worth it. The fish cake was also a large portion and it was taste. One downside about the breakfast is that you can’t swap out things like baked beans and swap them for something else. Coffee was good but the freshly squeezed orange and carrot juices were average(maybe we got a bad batch of fruits). The locations is very nice facing the domain park and it is very bike friendly with parking every where around. Would come back.
