Excellent food and service. The staff was extremely honest and provided great recommendations. All of the ingredients were extremely fresh. Would definitely return!

Ordered seafood marinara– typically restaurants do tend to skimp on the seafood in seafood meals however this is really pushing it. 2 prawns and 2 scallops in my $ 25 dish. If I’m being generous– the fettuccine in this meal would cost $ 2 meaning each piece of marginally cooked seafood cost me $ 6.50. Wtf. And for a placed called ‘Sauced’ — there’s not much of that either. Waste of money. Would complain but couldn’t get any staffs attention. —at the end of writing this I remembered there’s meant to be calamari in this too, I guess they forgot.

Pasta cooked al dente to an individual’s taste. Pollo al funghi e spiralli pasta was recommended by the staff & subsequently ordered. Magnificent!

Sauced is a way to get a decent quality meal in a great location for a reasonable price. I like that you are able to choose your sauce and pasta type from a variety of choices from a really easy to read menu. Everything is freshly made(except for the lasagna) and is served to you in bio degradable containers. We enjoyed our pasta with an ample side of salad to share between the two of us. The venue is spacious, brightly lit and clean. Staff are attentive and friendly. The only fault I have is that my lasagna was heated up and was dry around the edges which made it quite ‘chewy’. I would recommend Sauced for a quick and substantial meal but just don’t try the lasagna!

Awesome pasta bar. Really delicious food. They even do zucchini strips instead of pasta if you prefer so really healthy. If you like quick but good food then this is the place for you. The even have Vegeterian dishes. Staff are really friendly. How Sauced works is you pick your preferred style of pasta — gnocchi, spaghetti, etc. then you pick your accompanying sauce and size of the meal. All meals come with free bread and there is also free water on offer. Only downside is that the food is a little bit pricy, but it is worth the price.

My went here for a regular Wednesday night dinner that I do with my closest friends. My friends who are all on health kicks substituted their pasta with zucchini strips, they also had the option of having low carb pasta as well. So no reason why you can’t eat pasta! Although my friends dishes were delish(like the pollo e funghi), my lasagne with a side of Parmesan chips were the bomb. Let’s just say all my skinny minny friends were more than tempted by my meal selection! Disappointing aspects of the experience were that there were not enough seats, and you are not able to buy drinks there. **edit — I am pulling back my review to 3 stars as the last time I was there I watched the cook put my lasagne in the microwave. My think in an open kitchen situation, this is a bit of a fail because I can microwave at home. Just saying! I also think that they seating does not make full use of the space that they have.

I am a fan fan of lots of sauce on my pasta. And an even bigger fan of fresh pasta. This place has pretty much covered off all my ‘Ultimate pasta experience’ boxes. They give you a choice of two pasta sizes(man or woman size as I like to think of it). The small size with a side salad is perfect for me as you also get a beautifully fresh piece of crusty bread with every dish. You can also pick type of pasta and the sauce and if you are eating in they bring it out to you on a really cute board. The fresh raviolis are really really good but I can’t go past the perfectly al dente fettuccine. I have tried three of the sauces and they were all delicious. The 4ps(pumpkin pesto Parmesan and pinenuts) is very comforting and goes well with the mushroom ravioli. The broccoli chili pancetta sauce is nice and spicy and very generous with the greens. There is a pretty great chorizo chili tomato based sauce which I am still thinking about from 3 weeks ago too. To top it all off the people running the place are the nicest guys and are alway up for a chat. All they need to is chili oil to accompany the olive oil and balsamic on the tables. Eat in or take away but I’d chose eat in and chat to the boys.
