Breakfast omelette was delicious! Came out quick and on a funky board.
Fantastic service and friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you are in the shops and looking for a bite to eat or a coffee.

Mr Brightside café is a great eatery in busy Westfield Penrith. Great choice of food, including breakfast all day. I tried the Lamb Kefta, and it was delicious. Just right on the spice, and the roasted lemon a great addition. The beer battered fries were so delicious, I kept munching on them even though no longer hungry. (Ordinarily if fries are included in a meal they are so ho– hum that I leave them)
Downside is the noise as it’s an open style café, and, when our meals arrived, the empty cups and trays from drinks we had while waiting were not removed.
The meals were served on boards, and I am a little suspect of the hygiene aspect of this practice. Research into the use of wooden chopping boards has shown increased bacteria counts, so I wonder if this would also be the case with serving boards.

I keep coming here for breakfast with the intention of getting breakfast food, but haven’t yet managed to stray from their mains /​lunch menu.
So many places that offer up North American style foods end up with sloppy crap. Not here. Everything I’ve tried so far has blown my mind, right down to the chips that accompany most dishes.
I don’t think it’s possible to be disappointed by the food here, and it’s all so filling to boot. One meal at brunch usually leaves me satisfied the whole day.
Get here, if you can. You won’t be disappointed.
