What is it with Penrith and signs… they seem to be missing! Spent 10 mins at the location trying to find the café. No sign of it! Finally worked out that the sheet covered windows of a shop in the side street(mall actually) was Henri Marc’s because I could just make out the faded lettering on the window. Seems that they are closed on Mons & Tues — boo!

I just stopped in here for the first time, and I think this is probably one of the best cafes in Sydney, prices are reasonable, the place was warm, comfortable and cosy. I did enjoy the atmosphere indeed. I had a chorizo dish which was followed by a tasty latte and both of them were good enough to make me convinced to go back

Another café to tick off my list! Arrived around 11am and it was already packed. We waited at least 10 minutes before we were seated. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the pancakes which came with sliced apples, fig, peach and maple syrup topped with ice cream. The pancake itself is just 1 but it covered the size of my place = huge! It was more a dense style. My friend got the banana bread and she said it was lovely. My niece got herself sourgough toast with Nutella — such as large serving and they didnt hold back on the nutella! Staff were attentive and friendly. Busy café. Good coffee too.

Clearly the best café in Penrith, but that’s no compliment. But it’s also one of the best cafes in Sydney. Serving up a range of brunch and lunch dishes as well as good coffee, this place delivers on the food front. I’ve tried a range of dishes such as pork belly, pancakes, French toast, pork rolls and they have all been excellent. The fit out is typical for a modern café with exposed beams and the odd bit of exposed brickwork. It’s a smallish place which gives the place a warm feeling. The downside is that it can often be full meaning a wait for a table is likely in peak times. Prices are spot on for a good café and I’m more than happy to pay what they’re asking. All round, a top café by Australian standards. Forget that it’s located in Penrith and just enjoy what they’re producing. Awesome.

Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Small and hidden. But wont stay that way for long. I had the chorizo and mushroom with a poached egg and some sour dough toast. Cant wait to go back

The food tastes sensational and the staff are great! Can’t beat the atmosphere either. Nicest café in western Sydney!

I finally have access to a fabulous café in Penrith. Found this place via good café guide as one of the newer cafes, and boy was I impressed, since I wasn’t really expecting so much. Firstly, the interior and over all feel of the café is very much ‘hipster’, lots of attention to detail portrayed through the décor and yes, cleanliness. Coffee is quite good, a little too acidic in my opinion, however, not bad at all. I had the chorizo and mushroom dish, came with sourdough. Everything was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavour. Also recommend cinnamon toast, absolutely divine! This place is quite charming, DEFINATELY a must for café lovers like myself!

Yay! first to review and add photos to this awesome café. This café is quite new so i had to add this awesome new business to Unilocal, and yes, it really is as good as it gets! I am so happy that quality cafes are now exploding out here in the good ol’ western suburbs. We really need more coming out our way! Especially at the good ol’ riff. First of all, the location of the café is quite difficult to locate, or was i just stupid and blind? The Henri Marc sign is not really visible and clear. I think the only way i saw it was by coincidence. I saw a restaurant, a whole bunch of people eating, then BAM, OHYEAH! THERE’S THERESTAURANT! Its right in front of an oval(forgot what it’s called). When you enter the café, it is very very small, not good for large groups and not alot of seating outside so best to get in early, because café loungin’ at this joint is absolutely worth it! Now, to the food! The quality of the food is absolutely amazing! omgosh. Even up to this day i can’t get over the luscsious flavours of the sauce swimming in the great chorizo dish and the freshest of the freshest apple juice i’ve ever sipped through a straw in my life! CHECK out my photos i posted of my food adventure, it will send shivers up and down your spine! I am a big fan of chorizo! mmm mmm good ol’ chorizo. Girrrrrllllllllll, the chorizo dish i had here is breathtaking. Please please try it as your first meal if you’re brunch one summer morning! I forgot what the full dish is called but it is basically chorizo sauteed in greens, mushrooms and onion, served with an egg and 2 cripsy thick toasts. The flaavours that they sauteed the dish in was so yummy! i washed it down with a cup of coffee and THEEBESTAPPLEJUICEYOUWILLEVERDRINKINYOURLIFE! i’m a big juice drinker so i can taste the difference between a coles carton juice or fresh quality juice, and this is probably as good as it gets! They served the juice in the cutest shoe glass with a couple of fresh green apples hanging out of it, definitely made my drinking experience alot more entertaining. I have heard of great things about Henri Marc, one of the newest up and coming cafes to ever hit Sydney. Go ahead, try it out, and let your fellow Unilocalers know what you think! 5 out of 5 Henri… enjoy ya’ll xoxo
