High St Depot

I stumbled over the High St Depot when I was invited out by a hipster friend. Old mate has an uncanny knack for finding trendy coffee shops like a moth to a flame.
Now although my friend says that the coffee is some of the best hes ever had in the Penrith area I’m not a big coffee drinker, so I can’t really comment on the quality of the spiced late.
What I am is a lover of breakfast food. So I can comment for days on just how good the bacon and eggs are.
The all day breakfast menu on offer at the Depot is simple, relatively short but excellent.
Everything on there is prepared fresh reasonably priced.
Every trip I’ve taken to the Depot has had me impressed. Not just with the food but with the venue and the staff as well — it’s a complete package.
The waitresses are friendly and attentive.
The furnishings are modern but with a funky industrial vibe.
The place is air conditioned (a point that can’t be overlooked.)
And the scrambled eggs are the best I’ve ever had.
Whack that together with an iced coffee or freshly squeezed orange juice and you’ve got yourself a perfect brunch.

Great atmosphere, good food and even better coffee. A hidden gem in the Penrith area.
