Great Service and Friendly people. I had been to Lucioli with my friends for breakfast. We loved it! A great place to have coffee and breakfast. Reasonable price and great service. It’s worth spending at Lucioli. Looking forward to visit again. Cheers!

Authentic Italian in a classy, yet cosy setting. Complimentary antipasto pre-dinner was a bonus! Staff friendly and very attentive, the food great and the vast range of italian wines was definately a hit for me!

Nice little coffee shop, not sure if it’s part of a chain. First place I have found in WA where I can order an Americano and not a long black! Drinks served with nice little chocolate eggs at Easter instead of the usual biscuit. It looks like they have a bar and serve food but haven’t tried! Best seats outside to people watch! I have also found that everywhere gives you free water

Tried their croque embouche at the Mediterranean Night Kitchen and it was fantastic! Their drinks selection is vast as well and they do an amazing aperitivo where you get free nibbles with any drinks order. Can’t wait to try more food!

I didn’t even know this cool place existed. Set just outside Claremont Quarter opposite Grill’d, the exterior was illuminated with beautiful fairy lights. We came here for a Unilocal event that was hosted by fellow Unilocaler and the lovely Sandra B. On arrival Sandra provided us some information about Lucioli, not only is this place a bar but it’s also a restaurant and bakery. What makes this place different is the aperitivo experience. Prendiamo un aperitivo — «Let’s get an Apperitivo». Aperitivo is a pre-dinner drink, meant to «open» the palate and it gives you a chance to socialize, relax, and nibble as dinner approaches or is overlooked altogether. This concept is very sociable and a fun way to wine and dine with friends. There was a choice of three cocktails I chose the Aperol Spritz which is prosecco/sparkling white wine with Aperol this drink is definitely unique. It was yum! Next arrived the delicious Stuzzichini or appetisers there was a platter set on a beautiful bamboo wooden board which included homemade bread, breadsticks, salami, scrumptious cheese, olives and delicious sandwiches. A perk for this place is that they do free nibbles with any Aperitivo drink from Tuesday to Saturday which is such a good thing! The atmosphere is chic bar and is very beautiful outside and the waiters are friendly and polite. We were quite full with the Stuzzichini we receive we were also treated with two plates of delectable Italian pastries, biscuits and yummy sweet treats. If that wasn’t enough to top the night off we received a tasty glass of Prosecco. This place is such an amazing concept and would definitely return for the Aperitivo and Stuzzichini. Top stuff Lucioli :)

A friend of mine and I attended a wonderful Unilocaler Aperitivo Evening at Lucioli, which was hosted by our very gracious fellow Unilocaler Sandra. It was my first visit to this fairly new establishment in Claremont and I fell in love with it as soon as I entered the place. A staff member greeted us warmly at the door and escorted us to our table. I love the idea of the Aperitivo — a pre-meal drink which whets your appetite. I tried the Americano, which is a Campari based cocktail. It proved to be a drink as lively if not more so than the company. To accompany the fine Aperitivos we were presented with beautiful platters of stuzzichini — appetisers which were both delicious as well as aesthetically pleasing. On Aperitivo evenings, Lucioli provide you with a complimentary platter of stuzzichini. I think this is an amazing offer and I for one will definitely be returning with friends! To end the evening on a high note, we were treated to chilled Prosecco and freshly baked pastries. I enjoyed this immensely and I found the Prosecco really complemented the sweets. The menu looks very tempting and as all the breads and pastries are made in house, the freshness and quality is guaranteed. It also boasts an amazing pasticceria, I must admit the sight of all the delicious pastries made me give in to temptation. I purchased a large box of sweet treats — fungo, meringues, rum babas and more. My children were delighted with them and I savoured a few of them with my coffee! Service was superb, the staff are charming, friendly and extremely competent. There was a vegan in our group and they happily made up an individual platter for her. it’s service like this which gives Lucioli its fine reputation! Buon appetito my friends!

Utter disappointment. I wondered around Claremont Quarter and looked for somewhere quiet for a late lunch, I wanted quiet because I was super hungry and wanted to eat as quick as possible. There wasn’t anyone in the restaurant section, so I sat and ordered. Half an hour passed and still no food. I could see straight into the kitchen from my table, there were 3 people in there doing things(cleaning I think) but I’m not sure any were preparing my lunch. A table of 3 sat down after I ordered and ordered coffee and cake and that came out quickly — given cake doesn’t need to be cooked. The waitress was friendly and my drink came out quickly, the cutlery was set at my table too. After 35 mins I asked the waitress to check the whereabouts of my lunch. She went into the kitchen and came out but did not come and say anything to me. My food finally arrived after about 40 minutes. There were 2 small squares of fish, 2 prawns, calamari and chips, for $ 35. The waiter said he would bring me some water to wash my fingers, he did and it was straight out of an urn; smoking hot! He did tell me it was hot when he put it down. The prawns were deep fried whole, as was everything else I was served,(so I have no idea how it took 40 minutes for my food to arrive) and the entrails were still there. When I went to pay I was asked how my mocktail was and I responded much better than my food. The waiter asked why and I said the calamari tasted very fishy. He said, you ordered Fisherman’s… I said yes, but it did not taste fresh at all. I would not recommend this place at all, I’m now in Koko black to replace the fishy taste with something much nicer!

#authenticitalian. Wonderful venue with friendly staff. Great location with a variety of bakery items that will make you want to put off your New Years resolution. The coffee was smooth and the right temperature. I’m very happy with this place and look forward to trying out some more of their menu items next time!
