Café Inu has this incredible combination of cultures and it ends up feeling very LA. The space is bright and airy, a big converted warehouse, and very welcoming to dogs and kids. And there’s enough space, and a general calm that means the dogs and kids don’t feel overbearing like the sometimes do in small city cafes. The coffee is very good, and served in bright yellow cups. The menu is very interesting with many classic café dishes getting a Japanese twist. Servings aren’t huge, but always filling enough, and very well priced. Most meals are around the $ 10 mark. And there is plenty of on street parking. Staff are lovely, meals are different(and delicious!) and the location is excellent. A new favourite for me.
