GOA

Wir wollten eigentlich ein anderes Restaurant in der Gegend zum Mittagsessen besuchen, das aber geschlossen hatte.
Nachdem wir mitsamt Kinderwagen und etwas Mühe in den kleinen Gastraum gequetscht haben, wurden wir an einen schönen gemütlichen und sauberen Tisch am Fenster gebeten. Die Einrichtung ist «klassisch» für den Inder um die Ecke. Wir fanden es gemütlich.
Die Mittagsmenüs gibt es immer mit Suppe oder Salat. Mein Salat war (natürlich) ein kleiner «Standardsalat», der aber immerhin ein recht leckeres Dressing hatte.
Als Hauptspeise hatten wir ein Lamm– und ein Fishcurry. Beides war sehr lecker, angenehme milde Schärfe, der Reis war frisch und reichlich.
Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Von dem — anderswo bemängelten — Stress war nichts zu spüren. Vermutlich auch, weil der Laden nicht so voll war.
Angesichts des wirklich günstigen Mittagspreises bekommt der Laden von mir noch fünf Sterne.

Da ein anderer Inder, den ich besuchen wollte, zuhatte, haben wir nach einem Inder in der Nähe geschaut und dieser hier hatte geöffnet.
Es ist ein eher kleines Lokal, fast alle Tische waren besetzt. Obwohl wir nur zu zweit waren und nicht reserviert hatten, durften wir an einem Vierertisch Platz nehmen.
Das Restaurant ist mit Teppich ausgelegt, an der Wand hängen leicht kitischige Bilder, von der Decke baumeln bunte Hängeleuchten, dennoch wirkt es sehr gemütlich.
Als Vorspeise kamen sodann die beim Inder üblichen Papadams mit 3erlei Dips, Minze, einem scharfen und einen den ich nicht kannte, leicht säuerlich aber durchaus schmackhaft.
Als Vorspeise hatten wir das Gemüse in Kichererbsenmehl gebacken, was solide und gut schmeckte, wie ich es auch von anderen indischen Restaurants kenne.
Als Hauptgericht hatte ich ein würziges Gemüsegericht, meine Begleitung hausgemachten Käse mit Spinat. Beide Gerichte waren gut, hätten aber etwas mehr Würze vertragen können.
Das Personal war durchgehend freundlich. Auf unsere Nachfrage, ob das Essen, das wir nicht geschafft hatten mit etwas Reis eingepackt werden könnte, wurde das sofort bejaht und mitgeteilt, das Reis, den die Gäste nicht essen wiederverwendet wird. Hmm. na hoffentlich nehmen den alle mit dem entsprechenden Löffel und nicht mit ihrem eigenen Besteck vom Teller herunter.
Ansonsten ein sehr angenehmes und authentisches Restaurant, wo man wiederherkommen kann.

Leckeres Essen, es begrüßt eine freundliche Atmosphäre und Personal, nur reservieren sollte man vorher. Essen kann man alles, ist einfach lecker.

Die Bedienung ist eine absolute Katastrophe hier. Das Essen ist ähnlich.
Wir wurden an einen Tisch gesetzt, auf dem ein Tacker und eine Pappbox mit irgendwelchen Papierchen standen?! Siehe Foto. Wieso ist so etwas jemals in einem Essraum mit Gästen? Es war zwar relativ voll, aber das ist keine Entschuldigung.
Erstmal das Essen:
Es war Mittag, also haben wir vom Mittagsmenü gewählt.
Die Tagessuppe (Foto) hat nur nach Instant-​Gemüsesuppe geschmeckt. Geschmacklich gleichzusetzen mit Wasser, Glutamat und Salz. Auf dem Boden waren auch drei Linsen zu finden, also sollte es eine Linsensuppe sein? Das habe ich nie erfahren. Es hat zumindest nicht so geschmeckt.
Erst jetzt kommen die Getränke. Es scheint, dass der Kellner sich seine Hände mit Rotwein beschmiert hatte, und damit die Flasche eingesaut hat und dann auch die weiße Tischdecke. Naja.
Die Hauptgänge (Foto) waren in Ordnung, da wir Hunger hatten. Ansonsten war das Hähnchen zu scharf (was ich für Gewöhnlich mag), sodass nicht viel Geschmack übrig blieb.
Zum Service!!!
Ich bestellte einen House-​Cocktail und normalerweise kann man sich aussuchen, was rein soll, aber hier war der Kellner total verwirrt und meinte nein. Als ich fragte, was denn drin wäre, meinte er nur keine Ahnung. Die Bar war tatsächlich weniger als 2m entfernt und ich fragte, ob er nachfragen könnte, und da meinte er auch nein.
Die Kellner sind auch etwas altmodisch mit Hemd und Krawatte unterwegs. Was zusammen mit dem etwas heruntergekommenen Restaurant, fast schon komisch wirkt.
Noch einige Sachen, die mir auffielen:
Die Getränke, die man sonst zu Mittag bestellt, waren alle nur in einer Menge von 0,2l verfügbar. Wer will denn an einem Glas Cola mit 0,2l Inhalt schlürfen? Ich verstehe, die Motivation dahinter, aber es ist einfach lächerlich.
Im Großen und Ganzen ist der Service schlecht, das auch nicht viel besser und wiederkommen werde ich auch nicht.

AMAZING food. I was dying for Indian food since I had spent 6 full days in Germany and had great German food the entire time. I was traveling alone and popped into GOA. All of the tables were reserved but they said they would take me since I was alone and wouldn’t be long. I had the chicken tikka masala. It was definitely a serving for 2 but literally ate the entire plate. If I get back to Germany any time soon, I will be returning!

Das Goa ist ein gutes indisches Restaurant. Hier kann man nichts falsch machen. Für fünf Sterne fehlt es aber am Ambiente und das Essen ist nicht außergewöhnlich. Ich kann die pakora für zwei Personen als Vorspeise und chicken tikka masala als Hauptspeise empfehlen. Der Service war gut und schnell. Preislich völlig im Rahmen und die Portionen sind auch ok.

First time dining at Goa. We did not have reservations but they seated us quickly and were pleasant. The restaurant is small but not cramped and the interior is nice. For an appetizer we had an order of vegetable samosas. They were very hot (as in heat not spicy) and very crispy. Never had them that crispy before but they were tasty. Our main meals were also good. They were both very flavorful, with the rogan josh being very mild while the lamm karahi was more of a medium heat level. The garlic naan was the one area that was lacking as it did not have much of a garlic taste. The service was on par with most German restaurants we’ve frequented, not super fast but polite. We would come here again.
Side note: They seemed to have a good amount of carry out orders. They seated all those customers at a table in the back and an employee kept them company and chatted with them while they waited.

No thanks. Food is good but service is so miserable that might as well go somewhere else. I don’t expect servers to be my best friend or performing some show, but no eye contact and leaning and getting impatient with a few questions means he either doesn’t like his job or works way too long of a shift.
We came here because of the positive reviews, but had similar experiences to what was described in the the negative reviews (in German and English). The food was 3.5 (Naan was too greasy, spicy dish wasn’t spicy at all but tasted good, Mango Lassi was great. Dessert was way too icy from the freezer, which indicated it had been there way too long and not freshly made but tasted delicious nevertheless). He wouldn’t explain what it was (our party spoke German, English, and Urdu, but he still refused).
But service was 0 stars. First, the tablecloth was dirty (also happened to a German reviewer), second the waiter was unfriendly and made no eye contact with us. Worse, I watched him sit/​lean on a table near us as he took the order from another couple — couldn’t believe that I saw definite butt contact with not only the table but silverware…
Bathroom is dirty, which leads me to second-​guess the hygiene of the restaurant (that combined with the fact that the waiter sits on what you put in your mouth.
The shorter waiter was very professional though but only brought out our food. We left a big tip in hopes that he would get some of it. Not sure if that happens, as our main waiter became suddenly very friendly to us and smiling when we left.

If I could give it no stars I would. Although food is okay the service is terrible. Waiters were extremely rude. 15 minutes after being seated, one of the waiter’s walked over to us to say that the table had been reserved for other guests and the waiter that sat us down didn’t know.
My response was that we had already ordered our food to which the waiter responded well you need to eat fast because ‘YOU GOT TO LEAVE’. After that service just went downhill as the waiters made no effort to make it an enjoyable meal for me and my friend. Never going back there ever! Just terrible service.

Heute war definitiv das letzte Mal, dass ich mich dazu überreden habe lassen, mittags hier zu essen.
Bei unserer Ankunft war der Tisch noch komplett schmutzig, jede Menge Reis lag auf dem Tischtuch, die Papierserviette in der Mitte war voller Fettflecken. Der Kellner fegte nur den Reis vom Tisch. Als wir ihn baten, doch die eklige Serviette auszutauschen, sagte er nur: ist nur Wasser und ging. Der Geiz in diesem Laden kennt wirklich keine Grenzen, selbst eine frische Papierserviette ist nicht im Budget.
Dummerweise ging es mir obendrein nach dem Essen, das wie immer okay schmeckte, auch noch furchtbar schlecht.

Although the food taste was very good. I had a tiny rock in my dish and I almost break my tooth. Also at the end the waiter came to say that we should leave 10% tip for the next time, which I think was very rude.

Great Indian food that satisfies the cravings one may have one a random night in Munich. Easy to get to and very quick take-​out.

omg, I think I must have been craving spices in Munich. This place was sooo delicious and only a 10 min walk from the city center. It’s easy to get to, only a stone’s throw away from the Isator S-​Bahn station. I had the vegetarian thali and he had the saag paneer. Each bite was full of decadent richness that just blew my taste buds away. The thali came with 3 small dishes (saag paneer, some super spicy dish, and an amazingly soft, savory squash dish) plus a yogurt to help put the fire out in my mouth ;) and naan. His dish came with rice. Members of the staff speak English and were very friendly. Ambiance is awesome and the place was crowded, which is always a very good sign. We lucked out as we did not have reservations but a table was finishing up and we only had a 5 min wait (~7.00p on a Sat night).

A superb place. Not only did we get quick and awesome service (we got our food within 10 minutes of ordering) but everyone was nice and the food was amazing. We got chicken tikka masala, bhindi masala, garlic naan and regular naan.
Being on vacation, I was weary of decent Indian places around Munich but this one is excellent. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Goa is now in competition for my favorite Indian restaurant in Munich (Natraj has been at the top of the list). The food is fabulous, the service is good and the ambiance is pretty great, too! I have been twice now and had the Chicken Tikka Masala both times because it is the house specialty and it is so good! My boyfriend ordered something spicy that was recommended by the owner, but we can’t remember the name. It might be even better than the Chicken Tikka Masala — I actually don’t even know if it is on the menu, so you would have to ask about it. Tomatoey, spicy, chickeny goodness.
They also have a really decent bottle of Montepulciano on the wine list for € 15 that we have gotten both times. Highly recommended!

We first went to this restaurant because of Unilocal reviews and recommendations and it didn’t disappoint, came back 2 more times :)
It’s a fairly small place with dim lighting, and there is always a lot of people inside (always a good sign), so you might want to make a reservation in advance. Stuff is super friendly, you are given Papadum (special Indian crispy snack) before the meals with sauces and it’s on the house. Food is very flavourful, very well cooked and the selection is great.
After the meal, they will bring you a tray with different liquors (vodka, mellon, peach, mango, etc), and it’s also on the house. And in the end of your dinner someone from the stuff will come to you to say goodbye and give you some chocolates.
Overall, a very pleasant experience for absolutely average prices.
Will definitely come back! :)

Wir waren hir schon öfters und sind noch nie unglücklich aus dem Lokal gegangen.
Zur zweit, mit Freunde, oder Familie, es ist toll im GOA essen zu gehen. Die Bedienung ist nett, das Essen abwechslungreich, frisch und schmackhaft und die Rechnung am Ende immer wieder eine angenehme Überraschung im Vergleich mit andere Restaurants (in München).
Reservierung über open-​table funktioniert immer wieder, Zahlung mit Karte und Abschlussgetränk.
In München habe ich einige indische Restaurants beuscht, das hier ist mein Favorit.

Gutes indisches Essen mit einer großen Auswahl, freundlicher Service, zentrale Lage. Hier kann man nicht viel falsch machen. Außer nicht zu reservieren, das Restaurant ist nämlich sehr klein und immer voll. Tipp: hat auch mittags geöffnet, da bekommt man die Leckereien richtig günstig. Die Preise sind sonst durchschnittlich, wie bei anderen Indern auch

Klein aber fein. Super-​leckeres Chicken-​Tandoori, meine Tochter liebte das Mango-​Huhn (ich auch), mein Lamm in Spinat war auch klasse, der Mango-​Lassi super.
Das Naan hatte einen leichten Fettfilm, das hat mir nicht gefallen — geschmeckt hat es trotzdem! Und ich hätte gerne ein Mango-​Chutney zum Tandoori gehabt, das gab’s leider auch nicht. Wegen dem Geschmack gibt’s trotzdem 5 sterne.
Das ganze gibt’s dann auch noch zu vernünftigen Preisen. Hier komme ich gerne wieder her!

Das Goa gehört (e) von den von mir am häufigsten und öftesten besuchten Restaurants in München. Seit 2007 war ich unzählige Male hier. In letzter Zeit finde ich das Essen aber nicht mehr ganz so gut wie früher und die Bedienungen sind nicht mehr so freundlich und herzlich wie «damals».
Ich habe den Eindruck, dass es vor ca. einem Jahr einen Pächterwechsel gab der für das von mir beschriebene verantwortlich ist. Plötzlich waren die über Jahre vertraut gewordenen Kellner weg, der Laden wurde leicht renoviert und die Speisekarte überarbeitet.
Heute war das Essen nur mäßig. Die Suppe war z.B. tot-​langweilig und nicht sonderlich heiß, dafür aber der Reis schon wieder so trocken, dass er begann hart zu werden. Dafür wurde die Bedienung aber fast schon unverschämt, da wir uns am Tisch verquatscht haben und nicht brav nach dem Essen sofort wieder verschwunden sind. Statt einfach höflich drauf hin zu weisen wurde uns plötzlich die Rechnung auf den Tisch geknallt. Zitat: «Bitte jetzt Geld haben».
Ich denke ich werde mal wieder einen anderen Inder testen müssen.

Die Atmosphäre im Lokal ist immer recht hektisch, ziemlich hoher Durchlauf. Daher haben wir dann und wann was zum Abholen bestellt, weil das Essen grundsätzlich recht gut schmeckt. Leider hat das die letzten drei Male nicht zufriedenstellend funktioniert:
1. Huhn im Salat innen noch roh. 2. Saucen für Gerichte nicht eingepackt 3. Nr 80 (Ente) von online-​Karte bestellt kommentarlos 79 (Käse) bekommen. Die 80 gäbe es halt nicht mehr.
Insgesamt enttäuschend, zu oft. Gast verloren.

This was the first Indian restaurant I went in Munich. I had no clue where to go and I did not know Unilocal at that time, therefore I had to look elsewhere for suggestions of a good Indian restaurant. This is how I ended up landing in GOA.
They renovated a bit the décor since my first time there. I am glad they did, it was really necessary. It did not look bad before just a bit aged. The place is not huge and there are not that many tables, and some of them are not very well positioned, especially the ones close to the entrance. This can be a bit annoying, when frequency of clients coming in and out is high. Due to the limited number of tables, if you are planning to go there around 8 pm, I strongly recommend making a reservation, as it can get pretty packed in the evening.
The staff is very cordial but not necessarily friendly. Sometimes they can be a bit unconventional. For instance, once I went there alone and was seating in a small two-​person table, they politely asked me to share the table with some other person, who I did not know. I have no problem doing that in a Biergarten, or when the table is bigger, but the food itself was already taking the other half of the table. That seemed a bit over the top at that time.
As an appetizer, I usually order the «Vegetable Samosa», which are very seasoned and usually very hot. And I mean not only the spice level. It is better to cut them in half and let them cool down a bit.
But what they definitely do best is their main dishes, and I really adore their «Subzi Malai Kofta», the 3 balls are made with a potato-​cheese base and with almonds. It is definitely one of the best I had in Munich. For couples or lone rangers, a good compromise are the Thalis both vegetable and non-​vegetable ones. Then, you can taste various dishes without ordering too much. And all those dishes and go really well with their Naan bread, which is really good but not the best I had in Munich so far.
Mango Lassi fans out there, don’t think twice, order the bigger one, you will love it! This is one of the best I had in Munich.
For the quality and taste of their food, I consider GOA one of the top Indian restaurants here in Munich.

Das Goa ist mit Abstand das beste indische Restaurant in München.
Alles, sogar die Suppen sind eine kulinarische Erfahrung.
Die Kellner sind aufmerksam und der Besitzer ist ein sehr lustiger und sympathischer Zeitgenosse.
Abends kann es wegen der vielen Gäste schon ein wenig eng werden und die Einrichtung ist mit Sicherheit auch nicht der letzte Schrei.
Wen das aber nicht stört, der bekommt hier einen Eindruck davon, was die indische Küche so alles kann!

Es pocht ganz schnell. Mein Herz, wenn es um indisches Essen geht. Besonders angetan hat es mir Palak Paneer (Im Goa heißt es Saag Paneer). Dahinter verbirgt sich scharf gewürtzer Spinat mit selbstgemachtem indischen Käse. Dazu ein leckeres Naan Brot und ich bin im Land der Glückseligkeit angekommen. Besonders wenn es so hervorragend zubereitet wird, wie im GOA. Das GOA ist somit meine neue Adresse, wenn ich mal wieder indisch essen gehen mag. Das GOA Tali (eine Zusammenstellung von Chicken Masala, Lamm Palak, Vegetable Korma, Salat, Raita, Naan und Reis) für 13,50 Euro war ebenso geschmacklich hervorragend. Preislich ist das GOA auch absolut top. Eine Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen mit verschiedenem Gemüse, Hühnchen und Fisch sowie hausgemachtem Käse gibt es hier für 9,50 Euro. Saag Paneer gab es für 9,50 Euro.
Das GOA ist vom Ambiente ganz «barisch», nämlich saugemütlich: Rosafarbene Wände mit bunten Lichtern versetzten das kleine Lokal in ein 1001 Nacht Ambiente. Ansonsten funkelt hier wenig indischer Klimbim. Keine goldenen Ganesha-​Figuren, keine überladenen Shiva-​Bilder und auch keine bunten Seidentücher, die im Winde wehen. Hier setzen die Besitzer wohl auf das «weniger ist mehr”-Prinzip. Glücklicherweise halten sie es mit dem Service nicht so, denn hier heißt es «Der Kunde ist König». Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt und auch den ganzen Abend sehr freundlich umsorgt, keine aufdringlichen «Möchten Sie noch Dessert?» Fragen, sondern ein ernstgemeintes, nettes «Ist alles in Ordnung bei Ihnen?». Genau wie ich es mag. :-D Einzig und allein die Tatsache, dass wir an den hintersten Tisch gesetzt wurden, mit der Begründung, dass an dem Abend alles ausgebucht sei. Jedoch bis beim Verlassen des Lokals gegen 23h über die Hälte der Tische noch zu haben waren. Das war a weng blöd. Allerdings habe ich schon von mehreren kulinarischen Feinschmeckern gehört, dass das GOA wirklich sehr oft ausgebucht ist. Also am besten von DO-​Sa resservieren.
Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, denn der Spruch auf der Speisekarte «Wir sind immer bestrebt, dass unsere Gäste als Freunde unser Restaurant verlassen» den haben sie in meinem Falle wahr gemacht. Mein Gaumen ist ab sofort ein GOA-​Freund und Freundschaften muss man bekanntlich pflegen. In diesem Sinne. Bis bald. Namaste.

Angenehme Atmosphäre, ausgezeichnetes authentisches Essen und ein besonders freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Bravo. Weiter so. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super Essen. Chicken tikka masala war fantastisch

Nettes kleines und gemütliches indisches Lokal. Leckere Gericht zu normalen Preisen. Der sehr nette und überaus eifrige Ober (Chef persönlich ?) war sehr freundlich und fürsorglich. Ein KLASSE Restaurant das ich sehr empfehlen kann !!!

Das Goa präsentiert sich wie die meisten indischen Restaurants eher von der kitschigen Seite. Die Farbgebung ist orange/​rot gemischt mit blauen/​grünen und gelben Lampen — sehr fröhlich und warm. Was mir am GOA extrem auffiel war der sehr starke Geruch von Essen/​Gewürzen, was in vielen indischen Restaurants der Fall ist aber hier irgendwie überwältigend war.
Der Chef begrüßt einen sehr herzlich und führt einen persönlich zum Tisch, wo man dem Kellner übergeben wird.
Die Auswahl an Vorspeisen, Curries und Tandoori Spezialitäten ist sehr groß — ich kannte auch bisher Ente mit Mango nicht.
Die Speisen sind nach Schärfe gekennzeichnet — anders als in Goa selbst ist nicht alles schlichtweg mega-​scharf — und medium schmeckt auch nach medium.
Toll fand ich auch die Auswahl an Lassis: 5 oder 6 verschiedene Geschmacksrichtungen von dem üblichen Mango über Banane oder Pfefferminz zu salzigem Lassi. hätte sie gerne alle probiert aber ich sollte nach dem Abend noch aufstehen können.
Unser Essen war sehr gut, wir hatten Curries und Garlic naan — letzteres war ausgezeichnet — und Chai zum Abschluß. Zum Abschied gab es einen Drink aufs Haus — wobei wir wählen durften zwischen Aprikosen-​Schnaps, Mango Likör oder Pina Colada (ich habe extra nachgefragt — ich hatte mich nicht verhört) und Schokolade.
Alles in allem ein sehr netter Abend, nur meine Kleidung hängt am Balkon :-)

Ehrlich gesagt kann ich die Begeisterungstürme für dieses lokal NICHT nachvollziehen.
Ich war mit meiner Freundin zum Mittagstisch, und das Essen war lauwarm kaum gewürzt und totlangweilig (Wir hatten das Spinatcurry).
Erstaunlicherweise waren auch so gut wie keine Gäste anwesend, und das um 13:00.
(Außer uns noch ein Tisch mit zwei Mädls)
Vielleicht ist der Laden Abends anders, aber das wäre dann auch traurig,
wenn es ein Zweiklassen-​Tageszeiten-​Essen gäbe.

It is rather difficult to find a good Indian restaurant in Germany. They are too adopted to the taste of locals, so the food does not taste like Indian anymore. But not in Goa. Here all the dishes are just the way they would be in India (or good Indian place in London or Birmingham). The staff is efficient and friendly. The place is exceptionally popular, so booking a table a day before is a must.

I went with my buddy who of course is Indian. It’s highly recommend and reservation might need during weekend evening. Very fast service and with high quality of cooking style. This is the only Indian restaurant that recommended by my buddy who have been working/​living in Germany for a long time.

Ein schönes kleines Restaurant, dass alle möglichen indischen Gerichte anbietet — im wunderschönen Lehel in bester Lage gelegen, kommt man kaum daran vorbei wenn man mal in der Gegend ist.
Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und flink und macht den Besuch hier sehr angenehm.
Das Essen selbst ist nicht das allerbeste indische Essen, aber ganz gut. Die Gewürzmenge ist eben dem europäischem Gaumen angepasst. Aber das ist natürlich eine ganz subjektive Meinung :)

Goa, das ist nicht nur eine Region in Indien, sondern auch ein Restaurant im Lehel… Und zwar ein verdammt leckeres indisches. doch nicht nur das leckere Essen ist ausschlaggebend dafür, dass ich hier gerne zum Essen hinkomme…
Auch das Ambiente dieses Inders ist ein sehr angenehmes. Es steh hier nur eine sehr kleine Auswahl an Tischen zu Verfügung. Deswegen sollte man bestenfalls reservieren. Wenn man dann aber einen Platz hat, dann ist man richtig froh darüber, dass hier nur so wenig Tische sind.
Man wird deswegen besonders schnell und zuvorkommend von den Kellnern bedient, außerdem sind winzige süße Restaurants doch immer noch am schönsten. Und das Essen hier ist wirklich sehr fein und auf eine unglaubliche gute Art gewürzt.

I had to spend a fortnight in Munich on work. Having been to all the recommended Indian restaurants in Munich I can confirm that Goa is the best Indian restaurant in Munich.
The quality of food is better then that found in the UK. Food can be made to your taste.

This is possibly the best Indian restaurant in Munich. Service is attentive and friendly, food is incredibly and the restaurant itself is located wonderfully conveniently right beside Isartor S-​Bahn. Bucking the trend of many Munich Indian restaurants, this place will serve your food spicy if requested (English hot gets you normally spicy food and very English hot will bring the chef out of the kitchen to see if you’re all talk). Not too expensive, considering what it is. Recommended for fast lunches and long dinners, but reservations are sensible.

Goa is the best Indian Restaurant i have found so far.
(i lived in Tokyo, the butter chicken at Moti in Roppongi is unbeatable, but all dishes at goa are a A+)
the chicken and fish masala are very good. i tried both. the butter chicken is very tasty too.
the restaurant is always fully booked, you have to make a reservation if you are more than two persons and dont want to wait for an hour or two for a table.
the prices person average 20euro incl. a drink.
Most important things for me, they are not using too much salt.
you can use all creditcards.

The waiters were simply extraordinary friendly and proffesional. The restaurant was full but they managed to arrange a table for us. I would recommend the Goa plate (dish nr 62), which comes with three different dishes, raita and naan bread for only 13,50 euro (26 for two).
