Adnans Feinkost

Great supplement to the nearby REWE City for more specialized items and lots of produce. A tiny bit more expensive, but I’ve had consistently good quality from this place. They also sometimes give out free pastries close to closing on Saturday night! Owners speak very good English and were even able to recommend a substitute meat for a curry recipe I was making.

This is a gorgeous grocery store and deli. Most of their items are international in nature with a great Turkish deli on the side.
They have a nice selection of fruits and fresh vegetables, a whole line of grocery items you need day to day including Turkish, Italian, German and other Mediterranean goods. They have a hot food counter and a mezze counter with tons of dips, olives and so on. They also have a bread counter with nice German and Turkish bread & pastries. Last but not least they have Turkish sweets :-)))
They have lunch time specials you can eat in or takeaway. One of the things they have here that I love is, Gozelme… a Turkish flat bread with cheese and spinach or filled with minced beef /​lamb… yummy. I was addicted to these when I lived in Australia and glad to find them so close to home ;-))
The prices are a bit on the expensive side but the produce is of top quality. We just moved to within few hundred meter of this place and I look forward to shopping here more. I had some of their mezze dishes for lunch and it was really good.
A great neighborhood shop well worth a visit.

Nachdem Adnans Feinkost, zunächst in der Georgenstraße ansässig, letztes Jahr aufgrund von Renovierungsarbeiten seine Pforten schliessen musste, war ich untröstlich: nirgendwo habe ich so gerne Obst und Gemüse eingekauft. Seit ein paar Monaten hat das Geschäft nun wieder aufgemacht, eine Ecke weiter, in der Görresstraße. Auf beengtem Raum, gibt es nun wieder (fast) alles, was das Herz begehrt. Auch die frischen Speisen sind sehr zu empfehlen und die Betreiber schaffen ein derart herzliches Klima, dass man am liebsten dreimal täglich vorbeikäme.
