A largely organic wine shop that recently opened… nice selection and reasonable prices :-) I happened to see this place as we were walking past and decided to drop in. Although the shop was closed the owner was inside and welcomed us in. Whilst his English was weak we were able to speak ok and used a bit of German and English to communicate.
They have a lot of Bio /​Organic wine from around Europe and their selection of German wine is also good. The owner is quite passionate about German wine and that is nice to see. He allowed us to try some wine and also introduced me to some unusual aperitifs from France and Germany.
He is just getting everything organized for the shop at the moment and only been open a short while. His prices are reasonable and for under € 15 you can get a decent selection of white and red wines.
I ended up going back and buying some wines and will definitely be back. It’s very close to where we live and I really like the personal service and the knowledge of the shop owner who is also a collector for the last 30 years.
