Häkken

I came to Häkken to see Kate Tempest talk about her work. Note that. I’m not sure what else goes on here, but I went to a literary thing and not a dance thing, so maybe things are different when the dancing goes on.
However.
This place is great. From the balcony there’s a astounding view of Reeperbahn. It gives you a possibility to be part of the famous street, but also to look at it with more distance — and a lot of stuff is happening on that street, so I would def recommend doing that as part of your evening!
They have a few cocktails to offer and they all seemed really good. The one I ended up with was delicious and the prices were very fair.
It’s not a big room, but that makes for a more intimate setting. The bathrooms are clean and the staff seem like they like being there. I’m definitely happy that I got to go to this place as part of my Kate Tempest-fan-girl’ing.
