What a nice surprise!
Sushi Umai opened recently, but since they are the 4th sushi place in a 2 block radius from my house, I wasn’t particularly interested. Last week we had one of their flyers in the mail though and the fairly priced salmon sashimi caught my husbands eye. What followed was a take-​out order for said salmon sashimi and salmon maki.
The order was ready within 15 minutes and since I went to pick it up myself I got a take-​out discount.
The salmon maki was pretty decent. Just the right ratio of fish and rice. Taste was good. Presentation of the individual pieces could have been a little bit nicer, but whatever.
The salmon sashimi was amazing!
The fish tasted incredibly fresh and just melted in your mouth.
My husband was raving about it.
For the price of 6.90 €, it was quite a lot of fish too.
We’ll be back for sure.
