Sushi-Kurs bei Makan

Awesome event — I loved every minute of it.
Very nice location with tasteful deco and very friendly hosts who made sure we didn’t lack anything.
The sushi chef was great and explained everything very well — I learned so much and now I can’t wait to make my own sushi at home.
The food was amazing — all ingredients were super fresh, but the fish totally killed it. That salmon and tuna were delicious! In general, I loved everything I tried though — even the California roll although I usually don’t like fake crab meat.
Our group of Unilocalers and Non-​Yelpers was a nice bunch as well — conversations were flowing easily.
Definitely as good as it gets — thanks Céline for organizing this!

Awesome night of Sushi making, good wine, and good laughs. The hosts were very professional and very thoughtful to those who do not eat fish (ME!!). They also poured the wine with a heavy hand (which is not a bad thing).
The master sushi maker was very informative and very good at his craft. Even though his English was not so good, he still took the time to try to explain what he could, and when he couldn’t, the staff jumped in to save the day!
I had an amazing time and can’t wait for another event. Excellent job Celine for making this happen! I can’t wait for the next one.
