The food and drink options in this airport are underwhelming… But this place is nice. Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of space, good food, beer, and cappuccino. German food, sausages, and draft Hefeweizen here.

For an airport restaurant, Deutch has some pretty sweet ambiance. The décor is modern and minimal, save the endearingly kitschy giant blue cow.(Personally, I welcome the sight of giant blue cows in international airports. Perks up my jet lag.) Deutch’s service is lovely and our waiter was really friendly. But the food? Oof. A lunch of weisswurst and pretzel at kept me satisfied and satiated, but I was hoping for more flavor. And the currywurst was strangely sweet. My pretzel was a plus. Deutch is on the pricier side of airport dining, but hey, the ambiance!

Had the 6 Nürnberger. The sausage was really good, with the cappuccino. A bit too much bread tho. Good German place to try not leaving the terminal.

By far the best option at this unremarkable airport, the sausage and pretzel combo were tasty and had a nice view of the runway. Pleasant experience, especially against the competition.

Best place for some semblance of decent German food in the entire airport! They do take out so I usually order some sausages, which only take 10 – 15 minutes, and run to my connecting flight. Only thing is that you need a flight coming out or going to the Z terminal or you’re basically unable to access it. Grab some delicious bratwursts, the small sausage plate is my favorite, and a litre of beer if you can stomach it during their Oktoberfest special. It’s a little pricey, but then again, what did you expect at an airport? :P Definitely coming back here again, and absolutely a place to try if you are dining on the company for a business trip.

I’m not a connoisseur of German cuisine, but I really enjoyed the food here. My dish had sausage, sauerkraut, and potatoes. And a Hefeweizen was a perfect compliment.

Great place for lunch! Food was very good, prices were reasonable for what you expect at an airport. Friendly staff and we enjoyed the ambiance!

had fast breakfast on my trip to NY. Food’s not cheap but it is very good and worth the price.

Running through the international terminal you’ll find this little place tucked in the corner of a high end set of food courts. There’s a few places around it but this one said«true German food» — in transit from Barcelona to San Francisco I thought to try it instead of the sushi place around the corner. So I just had the schnitzel(of the veal variety). It was solid — could have been thinner but nice and served with potatoes and fresh salad. Problem is that it was the most expensive thing on the menu… but if you want a good sit down and relax meal that’s Germanic then it’s pretty legit here(as far as you’ll get in the airport).
