Lufthansa Senator Lounge

Tja, gibt nicht viel dazu zu sagen. Für mich die beste Senator Lounge die Lufthansa hat. Groß, geräumig, viele verschieden Sitzmöglichkeiten. Essen und Getränke sind auch top.

Always a pleasure, a huge lounge with light snacks and drinks.

This receives a 4 star simply b/​c it’s just so much better than a United lounge by miles. Since i was heading out to Europe and me having Gold Star Alliance status I had the opportunity to experience how horrible United Clubs are in the US and their counterpart Star Alliance lounges were.
The moment you walk in, the quality of the lounge is apparent. The lighting, the amount of available space (in Frankfurt, they had 3 types of business lounges: First class, Senator, Business). With Gold Star Alliance status, you get to enjoy Senator. A little more exclusive but really less crowded. This should be the only way to wait on a long layover.
They have showers rooms, free wifi, a sleeping room, everything you’d want for a layover.
They have an open bar with decent selection of spirits and two beers on tap. So you can just walk up and make your own drinks. No bartenders to deal with, it’s do it yourself and it’s very much liberating!
In terms of food (but really snacks), it’s pretty decent. They have ready to eat franks, gummy candy, «fresh» pretzels, and a lady that makes tuna/​ham wraps.
Overall, i’d say, if you have a layover in Frankfurt and have status, this is a great stop :)

Senator Lounge… das war auch schon mal VIEL besser… man merkt es wird halt gespart

Zentral gelegen im Z Terminal ist die Senator Lounge. Nachdem man die freundlichen «Türsteher”-/Empfangsdamen passiert hat, gelangt man in die großzügig angelegte Lounge mit super Blick auf das Vorfeld.
Verschiedenste Sitzmöglichkeiten erwarten einen: Relaxsessel/​Hochstühle-​/​Sessel-​/​Arbeitstische. Zudem gibt es die Standardausstattung der LH mit Duschen und separaten Arbeitsbereichen. WLan for free und ein durschnittliches Buffett mit allerhand Getränken gehört dazu.
Angenehm finde ich die wechselnden Speisen je nach Tageszeit, sowie die frischen Smoothies, etc.. In einer ECke gibt es einen Fernsehbereich.
Die Lounge ist eigentlich immer rel. gut gefüllt, so dass man sich manchmal etwas mehr Ruhe wünscht…

Like most other LF lounges, there are always plenty of food and drinks. This lounge has seasonal dish made on-​site. A few months ago, the item was wrap. This month, it is a green pesto pasta. so good. Then there is my favorite, Bretzel…
You can take a shower too.
Sometimes Senator lounges get more crowded than business lounges because all gold members come here when business class passengers go to business lounge. It also varies which time of the day.

As long as you’re flying Lufthansa, you’re fine. If you ask about the code-​share you are flying on, not so much. I remember when Lufthansa was noted for their fantastic customer service. That is not so much the case anymore. The staff here are curt and very stiff. This is a nice club room tho with great wifi, excellent snacks, and lots of space. Hope that the staff gets back to basics tho on the customer service.

If this lounge were a person, I would want to kiss it.
Wonderfully clean, a variety of food, free WIFI, lots of space. I’m a Star Alliance Gold member so I was allowed entry and found it so much better than the outdated-​looking United lounges I’m used to (with the exception of the one at London Heathrow). It’s the only way for me to relax at the airport before a flight!

I do like the prezel! large and soft! At the time I arrived the place was a little overcrowded.

Very nice lounge, good food (big soft Pretzel and a beer started a nice light meal of yummy cream cheese– stuffed potato” pillows” and a sausage. Nice selection of prepared salads. Soup of the day. Why can United come up with only snacks? And crummy ones at that.

Great way to relax before an 11 hour flight back to The States!
Compared to the lounges at SFO — this is beyond great!
Buffet of food — salads, fruits, wurst, veggies, breads, soups, pretzels (YUM). Anything and everything you can drink — Coffee, Esspresso, Haute Chocolate (with Bailey’s thankyouverymuch), Bier, Top Shelf alcohol. Sweets — gummies, cookies and other stuff.
Sleep lounges, plenty of comfy chairs and areas to relax. News channels on tv’s, newspapers to read and charging stations and outlets that are convenient to use.

Although a little cramped, the Senator lounge beats any United Club hands down.

well, i was expecting a bit more, considering its Frankfurt and the amount of traffic that this airport witnesses. but overall it wasn’t a bad experience. Fresh salads and drinks available with variety and choice. place is little cramped but clean and well maintained. Often you have sometime left before boarding the flight — so here you can catchup with some work. Little quiet than the surrounding so you can make a few calls around. A good place to catch up as well with someone whom you intend to before boarding your flight. Overall a nice place slightly cramped but that’s given with the kind of footfalls the airport receives.

Clean and sleek, handles a huge number of people with ease

Irgendwie ist der Laden immer rappelvoll, so dass man kaum einen Platz bekommt. Das Essen ist Senator Lounge Standard also ok für lau.

The A-​Gates SEN Lounge really has improved its offerings. It’s stil too small and crowded but now there re fresh soups and salads as wells as other savory snacks. And they have my local favorite, Apple Wine!

Auweia LH Senator Lounge bei A26 diesmal nicht nutzbar. Wie im Chaos nach einem Erdbeeren. Alle Plätze besetzt, an jeder freien Möglichkeit Menschen mit Stehimbiss. Überall Hektik, schmutziges Geschirr usw. Dann lieber am Gate warten.

Ein Nonstop-​Flug mit der LUFTHANSA nach BUENOS-​AIRES dauert 13 Stunden und 45 Minuten.
Man kann ihn natürlich auch in der Economyclass verbringen, doch gerade auf solchen Langstrecken lernt man die Businessclass der Lufthansa zu schätzen.
Businessclass zu fliegen bedeutet schon am Boden einen besonderen Service zu erfahren. Die Fluggäste bekommen Zugang zur Business-​Lounge und können sich bei kleinen Häppchen und Getränken sowie mit Internetzugang und Fernseher auf ihren langen Flug vorbereiten.
Beim Betreten der Boeing 747 – 400 fällt einem sofort das luftige Raumgefühl positiv auf. Grund dafür ist die Sitzkonfiguration 2−3−2 in dem breiten Jumbojet-​Rumpf. So nimmt man Platz auf den nahezu opulenten Liegesitzen von Recaro. Diese bieten Verstellmöglichkeiten ohne Ende, bis man seine perfekte Sitzposition gefunden hat oder sie gleich in eine 2 Meter lange Liege verwandelt. Eine Massagefunktion ist natürlich auch dabei, es sind ja schliesslich ein paar Stunden, die man hier an Bord verbringt.
Für Entertainment ist ebenso gesorgt. Ein Multimedia-​System bietet Filme, Musik, Spiele und sogar Sprachkurse an. Wer sich hier langweilt, ist selber schuld.
Für Wohlbehagen sorgt zudem die umfangreiche Verpflegung. Ausgesuchte Weine werden nachgeschenkt, und auch das Dreigangmenü mit mehreren Auswahlmöglichkeiten bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas.
Kaum zu glauben wie schnell solch ein langer Flug vergehen kann.
Allerdings ist Vorsicht bei Businessclass-​Flügen angesagt, denn kommt man einmal in den Genuss, will man nie mehr Economy fliegen.

This review is for the Lufthansa lounges I recently visited during my stopover in Frankfurt. A lot has changed since the last time, and a couple of new lounges have opened. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to hit up the C gates this time, as that lounge was one of my favorite.
— Gate Area B: There is a lounge located at the end of each satellite in the B gate boarding areas. Both require you to go upstairs to access the lounge, and both are fairly new. They are pretty much identical in terms of space, food, and amenities. I would consider this the lowest quality of the lounges at FRA. You have barely any views of the tarmac, since it’s all blocked off by secret walkways. The food selection is almost nonexistent, with only some soup and crackers. Since the space is brand new, there’s plenty of sitting room.
— Gate Area A (Level 3): This lounge is located right outside of security, and is the lounge welcoming most transfer passengers. The food selection is a bit better here, featuring a pretty tasty pasta selection made on the spot, sausages, salads, and other goodies. There’s plenty of space here as well, but not as much as the B gates. The views are so-​so, but aircraft movement remains quite minimal.
— Gate Area A (Level 2 — Senator): This is hands down my favorite lounge at FRA. The entrance is split for Business and Senator lounges, but one can hop between them without a problem, since the only bathroom is on the Business side. The senator lounge features the delectable thick slices of warm ham, chicken nuggets, cheese and meat selections, and a bread spread station that has an attendant working it. There is also a selection of various salads and other goodies. What I love the most about this lounge, however, is the views. If you’re lucky, try to get a seat on the high tables. From here, you can see the best selection of aircraft taxiing by non stop. A dream for an aviation buff like me :-)

Very disappointing! Both lounges do not live up to Lufthansa’s reputation. Always overcrowded, very restricted choice of food and beverages. Only one shower for both lounges! Needs an upgrade badly.
