Great selection of Tapas — there is something for everyone.
I’ve been there three or four times now, and I always enjoyed it. The staff is very attentive, and the food tastes really great. It is such a shame that you get full after some of the tapas — I would love to order just all of them!
Anyway, with their selection of hot and cold, vegetarian and gluten-​free Tapas, nearly everyone will be able to find something he or she will like.
And although the place tends to be crowed in the evening, you generally have to wait just some minutes until a table is ready — often, one of the waiters will just walk up to you and inform you about the approximate waiting time.
I would definitely recommend the YOSOY to anyone looking for a great Mediterranean meal!

Solid tapas. Not amazing but by no means bad.

Delicious tapas, really cosy place and the staff is amazing. We arrived for a late dinner at around 9 pm. the place was packed, but in a good way — there was a really good and cosy atmosphere in there. A waiter came up to us immediately and said a table would be free in 5 min. The staff was really nice in terms of helping us choose what to order and how much. From the cold tapas we ordered shrimps in garlic oil and chorizo. From the warm we had the spinach pie with blue cheese sauce, fried calamari, potatas bravas and two orders of dates wrapped in bacon with an almond inside (each order consisted of 3 dates, and we really liked them, so we wanted a lot. All the food was amazing as well as the cocktails (we had a piña colada and a frozen mango daiquiri).
I think we ended up paying 55 € for everything excluding the tip.

Wir waren zum ersten mal hier und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ausgewählt haben wir dieses Restaurant nach den anderen Kommentaren hier unten.
Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, hat uns gut verstanden und war sehr zuvorkommend.
Zu 5. bestellten wir uns einiges an Tapas wie Pflaumen im Speckmantel, Kalamri, Hähnchenspiesse oder Tomatenbaguette. Dazu noch einige Dinge von der Tageskarte wie Burger, Lachssalat und Rinderfilet.
Das Essen kam, trotz vollem Haus, nach 20min. und belegte unseren ganzen Tisch.
Geschmacklich top, nicht zu fettig, sehr große Portionen und für das Auge schön angerichtet.
Wir können dieses Restaurant absolut empfehlen, raten aber dazu, vorher lieber einen Tisch zu reservieren.
Als einziger Abstrich wäre zu sagen, dass es nicht ganz wie in einer typischen, spanischen Tapasbar zu geht. Wer schon mal in Spanien war, wird die Unterschiede hinsichtlich Speisekarte, Portionen und Geschmack festsellen, doch das ist wahrscheinlich der Anpassung an unserer Esskultur geschuldet.

Ich gebe gute 3 Sterne, da mich das Yosoy nicht komplett überzeugt hat. Wahnsinnig voll und sehr laut, man sitzt recht eng auf Barhockern an relativ schmalen Tischen. Gemütlich ist anders. Der Service war freundlich und schnell, auch die bestellten Tapas kamen super schnell, waren aber qualitativ recht unterschiedlich. Der Schafskäse ist sehr zu empfehlen, die Gambas hingegen waren eher enttäuschend. Es war mir vorher nicht bewusst, aber das Yosoy ist ein echter Touri-​Laden. Das nächste Mal zum Tapas Essen doch woanders hin.

Gute Tapas Bar. All You Van eat Buffet bis 16:00h. Die Tapas waren für den Preis aber völlig ok.
Der Hauswein war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Gute Preise, aber die Qualität des Essens bei Yosoy ist überhaupt nicht vergleichbar mit einem ganz normalen Restaurant in Spanien.

While YOSOY has great food, ambience and location, what I found most outstanding was the service. My four friends and I were assisted by four different staff members, and each of them worked hard to ensure we got the food we’d like best. Ask away if you have any questions or you want to try something before ordering it, these guys are really helpful.
There are plenty of great vegetarian options– the spinach/​avocado/​cucumber soup can be made vegetarian upon request, and it’s refreshing, filling and delicious. I also loved the Spanish Mixed Vegetables dish, the aubergine and cheese in it had been roasted to perfection.
It can get slightly pricey, but I think it’s worth a visit.

Can be good depending on how hungry you are, however definitely not Spanish.
They sell «gambas al ajillo» as a cold dish. This plate is actually cooked in the oven and served very hot.
«Mojo rojo» is made out of red pepper amongst others, however what they give you is a «tomato based sauce».
Don’t be fooled by the Spanish waiters. The food is not Spanish.

Meh. Open late and it’s fun to sit outside and people watch, but the food was really just okay. I wouldn’t go back.

Delicious tapas with friendly staff. We visited the bar at a saturday evening. It was very crowded but we had a table. The tapas are delicious. Especially the «Gambas al ajillo «. But try the hot ones. These are big gambas, not the small ones. I advise you to make a reservation at Saturday nights.

Ort: Ideal Standort in Mitte.
Restaurant: Schön eingerichtet. Es gibt zwei Teile (all you can eat bis 16Uhr vorne) Hocker/​Hohe kleine Tische (super unbequem) und Das Restaurant am Ende, mit «normalen» Tischen.
Essen: sehr Tourist Orientiert, fehlt Seele in dem Essen, fehlt liebe für kochen. Gesmacklos nicht aber langweilig. Ich weiss nicht, ob für das All you can eat, sie benutzen andere Zutaten, muss ich vorbei kommen und à la Carte bestellen.
Service: sehr nett und fleissig.

Hola! Gestern hat mir mein koreanischer Freund Sung Ho die YOSOY Tapas-​Bar empfohlen. Er war schon dort und ging nun mit mir auch nochmals in diese. Die Kellnerinnen sind wirklich nett und haben immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen, das ist auf jeden Fall top.
Wir haben uns beide das Tapas all you can eat Menü bestellt für 9,95 Euro und San Miguel Bier. Die freundliche Kellnerin gab uns einen Zettel auf dem wir die Anzahl, der zur Verfügung stehenden Tapas angeben konnten. Es wurde unterschieden zwischen kalten Tapas und warmen Tapas. Wir haben uns für viele verschiedene entschieden, wie auch auf meinem Foto zu sehen ist. Unter Anderem Chicken wings, Tintenfischringe, Omelette, Kartoffeln… alles war lecker, klein und handlich. Wirklich eine tolle Sache, die Tapas. Das nächste Mal bringe ich meine Freunde hierher und dann wird nochmal Tapas all you can eat bestellt. Dieses Angebot ist allerdings befristet bis um 16:30 Uhr also sollte man dies beachten.

die vorspeise hat mir am besten gefallen *-* der hauptgang und das dessert war natürlich auch oberste sahne :). bis zum nächsten mal ! :)

Wirklich ein hammer lokal vorspeise und dessert waren eim traum und der hauptgang hat das ganze vollendet der koch hat mit räucherlachs nahe gebracht den ich vorher nie mochte wahnsinn deswegen bekommt ihr von mir 5 sterne !!! Weiter sooo:)

Tolle Bar in Mitte zu sehr angenehmen Preisen. Sehr viele offene Weine, kompetente Beratung und tolle Atmosphäre. Bin hier oft nach der Arbeit und es ist immer schön und immer gut besucht, aber nicht zu voll. Auch die Tapas sehen toll aus, auch wenn ich hier noch nie gegessen habe.

Me gusta la comida de españa. Oder so ähnlich. Mit der Sprache hapert es noch ein wenig aber das Essen im Yosoy ist super. Wir hatten einen Tisch bestellt und haben dadurch im sehr gut besuchten Restaurant noch einen Platz bekommen. Wir waren zu viert und haben insgesamt 12 Tapas bestellt. Es hatte gar nicht lange gedauert und schon war unser komplette Tisch voll gestellt. Yummy. Die Mitarbeiter dort sind super freundlich. Das muss ich nochmal hervorheben. Wir haben uns wirklich wohlgefühlt und kommen auch definitiv wieder dorthin.
Kartenzahlung ist auch möglich.
Eine klare Weiterempfehlung meinerseits. :)

All you can eat tapas for less than 10 € + delicious sangria, what more could you want?!
This is one of my go-​to places to bring guests visiting from out of town since it is near many tourist spots and has something for everyone to eat (lots of vegetarian and gluten-​free options).
The restaurant décor definitely has some spanish flair. The outdoor seating is a good people-​watching spot given the restaurant’s location in a pretty high-​traffic area.
One star off because some of their tapas options are not that delicious sometimes, but I have been more pleased than displeased. Also, the regular prices for the tapas seem kind of marked up, so just come during the all-​you-​can-​eat hours and you’re golden!

Walk in through the doors and you are in a tapas bar somewhere in Spain. The décor and design of the place is exactly right!
We had the tapas Plato Caliente and Plato del Mar. Everything was great. In fact, if we weren’t full I would have tried more things!
They were quite busy for a rainy, cold night, but the service was efficient and very very friendly.

Die Atmosphäre des Lokals ist entspannt, die überwiegend spanischen Kellner waren trotz später Stunde gegen 22.30 Uhr immer noch schnell und freundlich. Der Wein (wir tranken einen Rioja) schmeckte. Nur dessen Preis empfanden wir als extrem hoch! 0,25 L für stolze 9,90 Euro! ACHTUNG ABZOCKE!
Und nun das servierte Essen:
es sei stark verbesserungsbedürftig!
Ich habe noch nie eine so lieblos und unappetitlich gehaltene Tapas-​Auslage erlebt — deswegen haben wir ausschließlich warme Speisen bestellt. Datteln im Speck, Hackbällchen in Tomatensoße, grüner Paprika mit Salz — Klassiker, bei denen man nicht viel falsch machen kann. Warum wurden aber den Knoblauchgambas die Köpfe nur als Deko angelegt? Unsere Vermutung war — hier haben wir eindeutig mit einer tiefgefrorenen Ware zu tun! Bei einem Preis von 12,90 Euro pro Teller ein wahrer Reinfall! :-(
Wir sind zwar satt geworden — es war aber leider kein Genuss. Und wie einer der anwesenden Freunde es dann ausdrückte — es ging heute doch vor allem darum, dass wir «ein gutes Gespräch miteinander hatten» … Recht hatte er! :-)

Das Restaurant ist klein, etwas eng und relativ laut, da so gut besucht. Trotzdem ist das Personal sehr freundlich, die Getränkekarte nett inspiriert und die Tapas schmecken toll und sind schnell serviert. Die Auswahl an Hauptgerichten ist nicht so groß aber es handelt sich ja auch um eine Tapas Bar. Ich werde gerne unter der Woche nochmal wieder kommen.

Eine Freundin hat das Yosoy vorgeschlagen und nachdem ich die ganzen Berichte hier gelesen habe, habe ich mich schon voll darauf gefreut. Nun kann man ja im Yosoy von Montag bis Freitag bis 16 Uhr so viel Tapas essen wie man will und das für nur 9 €. Wir waren also schon um 15 Uhr dort und haben die gewünschten Tapas auf dem Zettel angekreuzt. Bedienung ist super nett, doch ich musste ewig auf die Tapas warten und als die endlich kamen, waren es nicht die Tapas die ich bestellt hatte. Ich hatte es der Bedienung gesagt und sie sagte ich solle sie einfach essen und würde bald meine Bestellung erhalten nun, ständig fehlte was bei meiner Bestellung was und dann 5 Minuten vor 16 Uhr bekam ich dann endlich alles. Nun wollte ich schnell noch eine zweite Portion bestellen und mir wurde dann gesagt das es nun 16 Uhr ist und das Angebot zu Ende ist. Also wartete ich 1 Stunde auf alles. Also in allem 1 Chicken Wing, 4 Calamares, 6 Kapern (die ich nicht bestellt habe), Thunfischsalat (den ich nicht bestellt habe), 2 Pflaumen im Speckmantel (total trocken), das wars! Geschmacklich war es nichts besonderes und das Schlimmste kam noch, als ich danach Krämpfe bekam und auf die Toilette rennen musste. Den ganzen Abend hatte ich zu hause Schmerzen.

Recht authentische und gut besuchte spanische Tapas-​Bar: Fast immer voll, spanische Bedienung, eine umfangreiche Auswahl aus den typischen spanischen Snacks, und dazu noch das passende Flair. Der Service war sehr gut gelaunt und schnell. Auf das Essen brauchten wir auch nicht lange warten, obwohl alles bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt war. Geschmacklich war es gut, auch wenn es da sicherlich noch Steigerungsmöglichkeiten gibt.
Persönlicher Tipp für’s Dessert: der warme Mandelkuchen mit Orangensauce war für mich das absolute Highlight und ist bisher unübertroffen!
Eine Reservierung ist übrigens absolut zu empfehlen, und man sollte sich nicht daran stören, dass die Tische sehr klein sind und es sehr eng wird wenn alle Plätze besetzt sind — das gehört aber irgendwie zur Atmosphäre dazu.

I’ve been there several times and never disappointed — it is crowded (good sign, isn’t it) and small, but the atmosphere is nice and Mediterranean, the waiters busy but helpful, and all the tapas I’ve ever ordered there were fresh and tasty.
I read below some very bad reviews, naming Yosoy the worst Spanish restaurant in Berlin… well, I guess it is not just. I live next to 4 posh Spanish restaurants and I can definitely say that Marysol at Savigny Platz has far worse tapas and arrogant service, and even the spectacular terrace and the prettty interior arrangement don’t help.
Go and try yourself — I can honestly recommend Yosoy!

Normally I would give 5 stars for this kind of experience but the last tapas restaurant I went to was at a Michelin tapas restaurant in NYC so I have to say that one was better. However, I was lucky to find that Yosoy offers Sunday brunch at the price of 9.8 € (all you can eat tapas), which is a great bargain comparing to my last spent here of 25 €. I was chatting too much than eating enough. But I’m clear that I want to come back to this brunch again with my partner and enjoy a whole lot of food. With the bit of food I ate today I’d say the quality was good! Very recommended Sunday brunch! !

Ich mag generell diese Ecke von Berlin, da man hier viele tolle Locations und Ecken zum Shoppen und Entspannen findet. Wir wurden von dem Ambiente des Lokals positiv überrascht, freundliches Personal und im Großen udn Ganzen eine angenehme Atmosphäre im Lokal.
Was nun das Essen betrifft — es war ganz ok, macht satt. Jedoch geschmacklich war das keine spanische Fiesta. Wie man anhand der Fotos auf Unilocal feststellen kann — ändert sich wohl die Größe und optischer Anspruch der Sepisen. Wir hatten recht dünne Chorizo, Mini-Oliven…dafür aber einen leckeren und großen Spinatkuchen.
Ich hatte schon mal bessere Tapas…
Großes Lob an Sauberkeit des Lokals und gute Weine!

Große Auswahl an warmen und kalten Tapas. Zu zweit hab ich mir mit einem Freund zusammen 6 – 7 Tapas bestellt, die auch recht zügig kamen. Die Kellnerin war wirklich freundlich, hatte allerdings ein wenig Schwierigkeiten mit der dt Sprache, was aber nicht weiter schlimm war.
Die Tapas hatten eine gute Qualität und die Portionen waren teilweise ziemlich großzügig. Am liebsten habe ich immernoch meine sonnengetrockneten Tomaten!

Das Yosoy ist ein Klasse Spanier, herzliche Bedienung. Typische spanische Spezialitäten zu echt guten Preisen.
Viele Touris, aber auch viele Berliner genießen den authentischen spanischen Flair des Lokals.
Ich kann hier nicht vorbeigehen ohne zumindest ein paar kleine Tapas zu essen.
Sehr zu empfehlen.

Allgemein
Das Yosoy ist eine spanische Tapasbar in Berlin und nach meiner Meinung ein Muß für alle Spanien-​Liebhaber. Man kann nicht aus Versehen vorbeilaufen, schon von weitem leuchtet das markante Rot und Gelb Spaniens am Hackeschen Markt.
Bedienung
Die Kellner überzeugen mit Aufmerksamkeit, Überblick, Schnelligkeit und echter Freundlichkeit. Man sitzt kaum, schon kann man seine Wünsche äußern, wir bekommen einen leckeren roten Hauswein.
Das Essen
Wie bestellten «Plato de Tapas del Mar» Sie bestand Gambas in Knoblauch, Ensalada Rusa, Ensalada de Marisco. Nudelsalat mit Krebsschwänzen getrocknete Tomaten, Boquerones, Artischocke mit Anchovis & gemischte Oliven. Der Preis für 10 Euro war absolut ok.
Als Nachspeise wählte ich Tarta de almendras con salsa de naranja für knapp 4 Euro. Dabei handelt es sich um Warmen Mandelkuchen mit Orangensauce & Sahne
Das Ambiente
Im Lokal merkt man erst auf den zweiten Blick die Detailliebe (Fliesen, Bilderchen an den Wänden, hohen Tische+Hocker). Es steht im Mittelpunkt der große Tresen mit den typischen andalusischen Tapas. Wenn es draußen wärmer gewesen wäre hätte ich mich wie in Spanien gefühlt.
Sauberkeit
Die Toilette war ok. Ein wenig Unordnung war schon zu sehen — na ja — spanische Mentalität. Hier gibt es noch ein wenig «Luft nach oben».

Most of the food was mediocre but the gluten free bread was AMAZING. Fresh, hot GF bread baked when ordered. I was happy because I recently found out I am allergic to wheat/​gluten and Berlin has very few options.

I went to Yo Soy the other day whilst waiting for some friends to go to the cinema. I didn’t feel like having a full meal and just wanted something «picar» so I thought I’d give it a try.
It is a typical Spanish bar feeling with the food displayed in a proper way. I ordered a gazpacho and a ración de albóndigas and a small beer. The gazpacho was OK but maybe needed a bit more garlic and cucumber for my tastes. The meatballs (albóndigas) were OK but the sauce was completely wrong for them, it was a chunky tomato sauce which didn’t go well with them. This review was written in 2008.

I had a good experience here for both food and service. The dishes were tasty and there is a nice selection of Spanish wines. The ambiance is very comfortable. Total cost for 3 tapas plates, dessert, cappuccino, and 2 glasses of wine about 28 €. Afterwards, I was a little surprised to read some rather negative reviews in English on Unilocal

Don’t have it be a meal in Berlin if you’re visiting. Came here after some walking around– saw it was packed and figured it was going to be decent. No, terrible service and even more terrible food. Ordered a bottle of water, the water had the cap already opened. Had a cheese, olives and sliced cured meat, came out 3 pieces of meat, 1 slice of cheese and too many alien looking olives. No good!
From now on, doing major research before randomly going into a restaurant. Lesson learned.

Yeah, Spanish wine!
The tapas are pretty good — dates with almonds wrapped in bacon; papas con bravas with aoili; pimientos…
but the main dishes leave a little to be desired, as does the seating. Though there is better, booth seating in the back but then no people watching…
The lamb chunks in the lamb stew my wife had were dry and a little tough. The salmon I had was rather generic and they forgot to add the burgos cheese to the little side salad. The potato cream soup with bacon was light and alright.
The cortado I had at the end of the meal was terrible.
Go here for some tapas and wine and people watching and more wine, then stumble on to another place for more food.

Vrai ambiance espagnole, que ce soit le personnel, la décoration ou la musique.
Les prix pratiqués sont plutôt correctes. Les tapas sont bonnes (sauf les calamars, déception).

Holà que tal! Dos personas por favor para comer! Heu excusez moi, on est bien à Berlin? Tout à fait! Dans cette ville, dans un resto italien il n’y a que du personnel italien, pareil chez les spanish et chez les japonais (du moins dans les restos que j’ai fait). Cadre très agréable, lumière légèrement tamisée, pour déguster diverses tapas à né plus quoi savoir choisir. Très bonne sangria et tinto de verano. Tout cela sur un fond de musique espagnol à la Bisbal ou Alejandro Sanz!!! Que aproveche!

Restaurant très sympa, une réelle ambiance barcelonaise. Rempli le soir, il faut réserver et le tour est joué.
Pas très cher, bon accueil, on est servi rapidement et les produits sont bons.
Un bon resto espagnol.

Para no perdérselo
Descubrí el Yosoy con unos compañeros en un viaje de trabajo a Berlín. Desde luego el local está muy bien concebido, pero lo mejor de la velada fué una guapísima camarera pelirroja, que nos alegró la noche con un desparpajo fuera de lo normal, y aún así gran profesionalidad. Vale la pena ir a Berlín y a este bar sólo para que te atienda ella.
