U-Bhf. Gleisdreieck

Tolle aussicht beim warten auf die u12 und unten sauna beim warten auf die u2… da die bahnen einen jedes mal vor der nase weg fahren und man teilweise 10min auf den nächsten bahn warten muss weil die bahnen nicht auf einander abgestimmt sind… es passiert nicht nur einmal. jedes mal wenn oben ein zug einfährt dann schliessen sich unten die türen.für mich als pendler ist das sehr schleht gemacht.

Der Ausblick vom U1-​Bahnsteigende ist einfach großartig, man kann bis auf kleine Einschränkungen sehr schön die schöneberger Seite des Gleisdreieckparks überblicken, dessen Eingang recht nah am U-​Bahnhof Kurfürstenstr. liegt, abends bietet sich der beleuchtete Potsdamer Platz zur Betrachtung an, schön wäre es, wenn es dort oben eine Verweilmöglichkeit gäbe, aber das Geschäftsfeld hat die BVG mit Ausnahme z.B. des U-​Bahnhof Bayerischer Platz mit dem neuen Café Haberland noch nicht entdeckt.

U-​Bahn Station Gleisdreieck is a crossing station, you could change the lines between U1 to U2. The satiation itself is ok, nothing really special, there not much going on inside of around the station.
Inside the station got not Imbiss (Fast food take away), but got some snacks machine around and tickets machine. At this station, it took you to my favorite Park, Park Am Gleishdreieck directly, really convenient. But I do prefer to walk from Bülowstr to there. It must enjoyable. One of the problem of this station is, when you walk around inside the park, it’s kinda difficult to find the entrance, if you choose the wrong way, then you will miss it, you can still the station though, the next entrance you have to cross the whole park for this. Well, no worries, just enjoy the walk in such a beautiful park.
Beside the park, the station also close to the Deutsches Technikmuseum. It took about 5 – 8 mins to get there on foot. Which is quite convenient. You can also go to the Potsdamer Platz from here on foot. It took about 10 – 15 mims, but it will be fast an easier just stay on the train till the station Potsdamer Platz.

I never thought much of this station until I discovered the park by it, which is phenomenal. But what’s also great about Gleisdreieck is how easy and quick it is to switch trains. No more walking half a mile; just pop up or down two flights of stairs and you can transfer between the U1 and U2.

Der U-​Bahnhof Gleisdreieck ist ein wunderschöner Kreuzungsbahnhof der beiden Hochbahnen U1 und U2 mit bewegender Geschichte.
Nicht nur wegen des Zugangs zum neue Gleisdreick-​Park und zum Technikmuseum lohnt es sich immer mal dort auszusteigen.

Kein besonders auffälliger Bahnhof. Er ist weder besonders schön, noch besonders schmutzig. Einer der Hauptgründe dort auszusteigen, ist wohl das Technikmuseum und die Umsteigemöglichkeit zur U1 bzw. U2. Bald wird er durch den im Bau befindlichen Aufzug auch barrierefrei sein.
