The store closed shortly before I arrived, and the shop keeper reopened the store. Now, you can’t beat that service.

This is our favorite Baklava store. I think Baklava is available in Berlin in masses BUT not every baklava melts in your mouth and puts your mind on a instant vacation full of pleasures. No, but seriously… they know what they are doing here. They are famous and known to be the best baklava in Berlin (just type it in Google – you’ll see). The store has a very clean and organized feel, there are tables inside. There is the same friendly but reserved staff (possibly the owner) always patient when we bring our friends out of town and we have to translate all the varieties of Baklava they have on dipslay. They are sold by weight. And the prices range but are def. reasonable AND worth every cent. My favorite one is the hazelnut baklava. But I think I like them all :) For those who are not baklava fans but stroll along because of their baklava-​addicted friends, they sell some very simple but yummy cookies too.
It is a sit down place but I have never seen anyone sitting there. It has a feel of a pick out what you want and take it home to devour feel. Sort of like a baklava bakery.

The place makes the best baklava I have had. I should say I haven’t had tonnes of baklava, but this is pretty great. Goo, flake, nut, and butter, they use simple ingredients to produce simply wonderful bites. All taste pretty similar, but I would say avoid the whole pistachio variety (perhaps the most singilar) unless you have a strong cup of coffee.

Ich habe einen recht guten türkischen Feinkosthändler um die Ecke… da habe ich bisher mein Baklava gekauft.
In Zukunft werde ich nun immer zu Pasam gehen. Der erste Bissen war schon ein saftig-​knuspriges Geschmackserlebnis. Einfach köstlich. Wird mir nicht helfen meine Baklava-​Sucht in den Griff zu bekommen.
Der Verkäufer war sehr hilfreich bei der Auswahl. Habe für ca. 650 g gerade mal 9,00 Euro bezahlt. Ich hätte sicher auch mehr bezahlt. Ist schließlich zeitaufwändige Handarbeit.

This is what my baklava dreams are made of. I joke with my boyfriend that when we get married I’d gladly fly to Berlin just to pick up Pasam Baklava to bring home for the reception. Heck, I’d have a wedding here if the baklavas can’t get past customs.
I’m no baklava expert… I just know that it tastes better than any baklava I’ve had in the US. Their baklava is juicy. It’s still got the flaky layers, but piece is sandwiched between juiciness making stuff ooze out with every bite. They also have a ton of flavors– pistachio, milk pistachio, walnut, regular, milk something. I really have no idea what they were. Just get one of each.
Note: This is a more «local» area, but fortunately for us tourists, the guy I ordered from knew some English. It’s all good though– you can pretty much just point anyways. It came out to less than $ 1 per piece. And it’s only a block or so away from the Yorckstrasse S/​U-​Bahn. (The S-​Bahn is closer.)

LECKER, LECKER, LECKER!!! die besten baklava weit und breit. kann ich nur jedem empfehlen. muss man nicht extra in die türkei fliegen, gleiche qualität und super geschmack bekommt man auch hier:)))) DANKE

Ich kann nur sagen ich liebe es süß und schmackhaft und das sind diese baklavas
Habe oft von diesem Laden gehört und nun endlich probiert meine Favoriten sind die mit Pistazien und das werden sie auch bleiben und bei Pasam haben sie exzellent geschmeckt Super hoffe ihr bleibt so lecker

Die Baklavas sind (bisher) die besten. Letztes mal konnte ich auch direkt im Laden essen und Tee dazu trinken. Diesmal gab es nur kalte Getränke. Das fand ich schade. Sonst hatte ich vier Sorten und die haben frisch und sehr lecker geschmeckt. Deshalb trotzdem 5 Punkte.

Dieser Laden verkauft türkische Spezialitäten und vor allem Baklava. Baklava ist eine türkische sehr leckere Gebäckart. In diesem Laden habe ich es zum ersten mal gegessen und fand es super lecker.
Ich fand es interessant zu erfahren, das dieser Betrieb ein Fmielienbetrieb ist, was auch die familiäre Atmosphäre im Laden erklärte.
Alle experimentier freudigen und andere Kulturen liebenden, sollten diesen Laden mal aufsuchen und dir sehr leckere Spezialität kosten, sie werden es nicht bereuen.

I was on my way to S-​bahn Yorkstr. when I saw this place and stopped in. I ordered a few pieces of a few different kinds of baklava. They were all pistachio as I don’t really like walnuts much. I have to say they were definitely some of the best I have tried and also the most expensive.
